Hello, because it not in any plan in trello, i do this post.
after managing several MP games, i have made 2 crucial observation for better MP experience.
I know that similar issues are in the AI behaviour discusions, but even when player have ship in his control, game force him to really annoying moves.
So, below is example picture- when ship under someone control engage fight, and he decide,that his ship is to close, most offen move which game is going to perfom is that ship instead of short kittin flight turn over, show its unprotected back,and die 🙁

so, pointing on enemy and trying to get avay is almost not posible when you chose wrong gap between your ship and enemy, and to get from this situation is very hard.
This bring in discussion again the facing side choosen from player, which alwas be prefered until player did not choose different one.
Point two- even when facing side done, this could be very very usefull help to handle batles, when you hit shift you can change facing direction of your ship and you can move middle croos which set distance and ankle.
From experience in MP, never managed to do that in battle in speed 1x , which is obviously the most common speed for MP game. And trying in the battle rush to catch by mouse this tinny signs hidden in the same red like ship shape is very tricky, or you have to zoom to your ship, but then you lost overview whats happening in battle.
Its not my idea, i read it somwhere, but i have to put it back into attention.
In case player hit shift, he should be able to control his ship setting by keyboard, like keys controloling the middle arrowcros for distance and attack ankle, and some letters controling the facing side rotation.
