Being a digital thing stored on the station's mainframe and not a physical log inside the particular terminal that Akari is trying to access, removing the status log is rather difficult.
Akari succeeds only in damaging the terminal. If the source of the power difficulties were to be discovered and fixed and the power restored, the terminal would likely still not function, due to the damage it had taken in Akari's attempt to remove its memory.
If the source of the problems were to be found (most likely in the reactor core), it may be possible to access the status log from another terminal.
Alternatively, the status log would likely be in the station mainframe's memory.
The mainframe can be accessed from the station's control room.

Head to reactor core
Head to control room
