MexicanDonky The starting credits is 80,000.
When I sell the starting ship, I have 80,000 credits to spend. And as long as I do not remove components much (at a loss of credits) then I should have 80K to spend on the starter ship.

Well, unless I am missing or misunderstanding something here...

Ok, thanks for confirming I was not crazier than normal in thinking it was 80K.

I could make one that is only 70K, if that is what the real challenge is.

Bit surprised to see that no one has posted has a starter ship with missiles considering how powerful they are.

In any case, here's one.

(sorry about not bothering to paint it better)

It uses forward firing missiles since that typically can punch though the point defense encountered in the starting area.

Captain_Cranberry Well at least (at the moment) you don't need to worry about the ships in the starting area using missiles against you.
