Yes, we rose up in a revolt against the old faction. Lord Kevin Harrison was the leader of a faction known as the Dominion of Order. The Dominion of Order had existed for quite some time. I had known Kevin since I was just a boy. When Kevin inherited the throne, he changed. He was no longer the kind, compassionate man I had known. He had become a tyrant.
He began to oppress the people, forcing his subjects to slave away creating ships and drafting them into the military to strengthen his iron grip. I begged him to stop, I tried so hard to reach the Kevin Harrison I had known. But he was gone.

It became clear to everyone that there was only one way he would stop oppressing his people. The entire Dominion was ready to turn against itself. I was left with a choice, and I chose to help the people.
United against tyranny, most of Harrison's military turned against him. Lord Harrison realized he couldn't win, against his own military, so he started attacking the civilian settlements. He threatened the families of the people who stood against him.
My priority became the protection of the innocents. Forces were allocated to defend the settlements that couldn't defend themselves. When Harrison realized that his strategy had failed, he fled to the Sanctum, a fortress well defended that the few loyalists could hold off the entire revolt. The war came to a standstill.
It was clear that a head on assault would result in the needless loss of countless lives, so my sister, Sarah, infiltrated the Sanctum and assassinated Lord Harrison. His daughter, Lucy, escaped.
We could have pursued her, hunted her down, and killed her, but I would not murder a child.
While Lucy's story is partly true, it is warped and twisted to make the Protectors sound like the villains. The Dominion was the one killing innocents, not the Protectors. I did not betray my friend, he betrayed me when he began to oppress his people. I did what was right.
Lucy Harrison is now the leader of a group of reactionaries calling itself the Order of Dominance. She will do anything to destroy the Protectors of Innocence and reclaim her father's throne.
