Story
After the fall of Earth, the star-faring fleets of the world came together to create the Quarantine. After some time of fighting the Blood Cult, they ran into the New Imperial Navy, who saw them as a threat. However, after years of fighting, both sides realized that they both had a common enemy, the Blood Cult, who was getting stronger. They forged an alliance, and shared technologies. Years later, the Quarantine discovered antimatter technology. The scientists who studied this technology wanted all of it for themselves, and split, creating the New Legion.
That was long ago. Now, this great empire has spread its reaches across multiple galaxies, and continues its eternal conquest even to this day...
If you want an alliance, speak. We will watch you, but you will be treated with respect. Betray us, and you will BURN.
Flagship
This is the Buchanan, named after our Supreme Leader, [REDACTED] Buchanan. She serves as our flagship, and the personal ship of Buchanan. This behemoth is equipped with a massive railgun, 4 superlasers, and a whole arsenal of destruction, as well as nigh-impenetrable shields. Despite her size, she is actually quite fast, due to antigrave technology. When the ship jumps out of FTL transit, the crew have the option to activate a devastating shockwave which destroys/cripples most ships in the surrounding area.
Conquests
The Grand Navy of the Remnants annexed the New Imperials, giving us access to new planets, and a new legion of advanced ships. They now operate as puppets, with their "Emperor" being a trusted adviser of the Supreme Leader.
We have annihilated the New Legion, an inferior splinter faction made of treacherous scientists and their people.
The destruction of the Returned Overmind allowed for the complete destruction of all of the Returned.
Number-Class
The Remnant 1 is a ship design that allows for the ion beam to endlessly fire. It is useful in combat, but can be easily destroyed.
(Refit Version)
The Remnant 2 is a more versatile fighter, with cannons around the front. However, the center is not heavily armoured, which means that destroying it would cripple the ship.
(Refit Version)
The Remnant 3 is made for hit-and-run tactics and scouting missions. It is lightly armoured, but has decent firepower. This is the only Number-Class ship made with Imperial tech.
(Refit Version)
The most powerful of the Number-Class ships, the Remnant 4 has massive arrays of missiles, which can easily destroy large groups of targets faster than they can destroy it. However, the factories are very close to the top, so one good shot can take out a whole array.
(Refit Version)
Forgiven-Class
The Target is a cleansed and modified Blood Cult ship. The large cannons allow for devastating firepower, but it is slow, and has almost no armour. It is used to distract Blood Cult ships until warships can arrive.
The Riot is another cleansed ship. Half of the original ship had been twisted into a mirror version. This mirror version later became The Converted. It is not vulnerable to missiles, as it has numerous Point Defenses. It can destroy a small ship before being destroyed itself, due to its speed and firepower.
The Spawn is a cleansed Centipede, modified to feel more adaptive to humans. It has more firepower and speed than the Riot, but slightly less armour.
The Lucifer is a cleansed version of the Demon. We chose to keep the Blood Cult guns, and because of that, we regularly check the mental state of the crew.
Barge-Class
The Plasma Carrier is used to quickly transport plasma to Cities and Metropolises. They are hard to destroy due to their speed, and are very useful, as they can easily dump their load if they are being chased.
The Kinetic Munitions Carrier is a modified version of the previous ship, and carries Ammunition. It has standard cannons on the front of it, which are only to be used if there is no other way out of a fight due to the lack of a factory on board. The sides of the carrier are heavily reinforced, so it would be hard to blow the carrier up. Due to this, it is slower.
The Heavy Plasma Carrier can haul a large amount of plasma batteries with ease, and is relatively well armed.
The aptly named Improved Plasma Carrier is around the same size as the standard Plasma Carrier, but has shields, antigraves, and can hold much more plasma, in exchange for slightly reduced firepower.
The Factory produces munitions at a rapid rate, which are then picked up by Kinetic Munitions Carrier.
The Prison holds...well...prisoners. If need be, Staff can be evacuated and the prisoners can be executed via destruction of the station.
The Luxury Craft is designed to give safe travels to high ranking officials in our government. It can fend for itself if need be.
The Carrier Dock is a collaborative ship, and is able to hold either a Plasma or Kinetic Munitions Carrier. It has Heavy Armor around the edges, which allow it to keep the enclosed ship safe. However, its lack of guns makes it reliant upon escorts.
The Small Scout Carrier is a unique ship, and the first of its kind. It is also a collaborative ship. The Scout Carrier has technology scavenged from a destroyed K.o.L. ship. It is the first carrier we have created, and holds six little scouts.
The Medium Scout Carrier is a collaborative ship, and is an upgraded version of the Small Scout Carrier. This carrier holds 12 Scouts. Now, we can create copies of the scavenged guns for the Carriers, making life easier.
Shock-Class
The Barrage is meant for whittling down a target's health, all while being heavily protected.
The Searcher is commonly sent out on high-priority search-and rescue missions, but also serves as backup for larger squads.
The Dusk is a patrol vehicle, used as fast moving turrets on the outskirts of dangerous zones. Police favor the Dusk for its speed and cost.
The Gauntlet is an interceptor used by the Navy to swiftly cripple a fleeing target. It does this with its large rotating laser on its front. It has mild shielding, making it a well-rounded fighter.
The Turret is a sniper ship that is used in stealth missions to whittle away at a target's armour. Its small size allows it to be stationary and not get hit.
The Rammer is a very fast ship, and as its name suggests, it is used to hit enemy ships off course. On the front are four Electro-Bolts, which can disable the enemy ship, allowing it to be an easy target for the brute force of the ship.
This is the Scout that is attached to the Carriers. They use quad-burst technology to do light damage over a small area.
Oh, the Bristler. This is true hell in space for anything that gets in its way. Every inch of it is covered in large cannons. It can quickly recover from an attack. The only problem is that ammo can not be quickly delivered.
The Sniper is used for long-ranged engagements. The only difference between the Sniper and the Remnant 1 is that the central emitter on this ship is an ion sniper.
The Headhunter is a small, agile sniper armed with quad Ion Snipers which allow for unparalleled range. If you betray us, you can bet you'll see one of these flying off after it BLOWS UP YOUR FLAGSHIP.
The Spine is by far one the most powerful ships in our arsenal. The entire side is lined with hardlight accelerators, which can tear through ships.
The Centipede is equipped with Mass Driver/b's so it can deal with thick ships.
The Dagger is a small-ship-killer equipped to detect, intercept, and disable enemy ships.
The Cannon is armed with 4 mortars capable of tearing apart enemy vessels from a long distance away.
The Slicer is armed with literal saws on its front. Saws for the love of god! (Laughs in the background) It's good at killing literally anything.
The Hail is a small fighter with a railgun used for annihilating small ships.
The Meteor is a slow area control ship armed with just enough to deny territory.
The Clover is a highly upgraded version of the Target, using roof canons and shields to protect itself.
The Pod is a very durable ship for its size, and can actually deal some major damage. It has a strong bubble shield which fits perfectly around it.
Equipped with Mass Drivers, the Candle is used as long range, high-speed artillery.
The Cell is like a mini version of the Remnant 4. It has less overall firepower, but has greater protection and maneuverability.
The Circuit is the Empire's resident shield breaker. The enhanced Electro-Bolts and the Ion Missiles allow for a heavily protected ship to become vulnerable very quickly.
The Quake is a behemoth, used for clearing out an area quickly with its large amount of missiles. It is heavily armored and shielded.
The Scar is a glass cannon, capable of tearing flagships apart before being destroyed. Its entire front is covered in Buzz Droid Launchers. It has a small amount of shielding on its front, but does not possess much other armour. After extensive testing, we have found that the Scar can launch a cone of 50 waves of buzz droids, allowing for massive area denial.
The Shark is an all-purpose warcraft, commonly sent in at the front of squads.
The Snub is a modified version of a fighter created by a local space-faring race that we helped fight against the New Legion.
It functions exactly as it looks. Twelve small railguns allow the Wave to decimate small craft and cripple larger ones.
Prototypes
To test our limits, we created the Broadsword, which has a insanely powerful railgun. We're still not exactly sure why.
This is our prototype for a highly mobile superlaser.
Project Flame
The Incendior is our first flame ship, capable of firing waves of incendiary missiles at a target.
The Comet is our improved Incendiary Ship, armed primarily with large flamethrowers for extremely effective short-range combat.
Imagine if the Slicer and the Comet had a baby. The baby would have been the Suppressor. Protected by a shield, the six large flamethrowers can converge on one area to essentially create a beam of death.
The Sentinel is good for area control, similar to the Meteor.
Project [INSUFFICIENT CLEARANCE] CODENAME: Slug
The Cocoon is a small, medium-speed ship used for eliminating small ships with its rapid fire slug shooters.
The Spike is equipped with a Lance to provide long-range artillery to a siege group.
The Spire is used as a standard infantry ship, equipped with dual Macro Cannons and a Lance, as well as heavy shielding and armour.
The Bull is a tank used to blast through thick armour to allow for other ships to blow up the juicy innards of a ship.
The Remnant Enforcer is a massive defensive battery, used to protect [REDACTED] due to its massive firepower. Without its shields, the ship would be a glass cannon.
The Guardian is a massive battleship, usually found at the head of massive attack fleets. At the front, we placed a superlaser. Its firepower is best displayed when it turns broadside.
Cities (Yes, you heard me right)
This is a city in space. A MOBILE city in space. With guns. Yeah. Could anybody else do that? I don't think so!
This is a prototype for a massive city, created from 5 individual cities.
The appropriately named Fortress is a one of a kind vessel, functioning as a total area domination machine. The outside layers can be sacrificed to let the core at the center of the ship escape.
Mining
The Miner is a restored version of an Old Imperial ship. It is used to tear through asteroids to find minerals. Also, the entire crew are trained in naval combat as well, so they can melt small ships with ease if provoked.
The Plasma Beam Towers on the Excavator allow for easy cleanup of any mining or combat operation.
The Steamroller is a heavy mining ship, armed with plasma missiles that are more efficient for mining asteroids than they are at destroying ships.
Miscellaneous Ships
The Patroller is a modified version of a common fighter, used to patrol low-priority targets.
The Micro-Scout is drone ship, used to travel into areas inaccessible by traditional recon vehicles. It possesses one small laser gun to protect itself if discovered.
The Standard Scout Craft is issued to beginning pilots. This is a well rounded ship; lightly shielded and armed to allow for good mobility.
The Civilian Rescue Craft is deployed in large numbers for the evacuation of a planet. We do not care if they are under our rule; if a planet is under threat by a hostile force, we will swiftly evac the people and engage in battle with the perpetrators.
After being evacuated, refugees arrive at these stations, and are taught how to defend themselves with the on-site cannons and lasers. These stations are stocked with food and ammunition for long periods of time.

DISCLAIMER
The Remnant Empire is not responsible for any death, dismemberment, or genocides caused by an outside party using these ships... because we will track you down, kill you, and wipe you from the records.
Notes
- Buchanan has, over time, developed reality warping powers, which he usually saves for 1v1 battles.
