And that was beginning of the end of my fabulous career, I made from poor son of peasant on unimportant planet under rule of the mighty Lord Harrison, wise and good ruler of best space empire.
Now, I´m back, my planet is just down there, hope I can stole some time to visit my family. They will be proud where I´m, Colonel of Lord Harrison Intelligence, Level 2 Confidential, only few know more than I. My service to Lord Harrison is extraordinary and example to all recruits.
It has been 12 years I left my planet and join army, my sister is now adult and I do have nephew, and my parent are proud of her to, and she is married to my very best friend of my youth. I´m so eager to visit home.
I get to shuttle, took protection suit on, and then I look at the map, spot, was just in the middle of village next to one where my family live, how this could be? How could any bastard order to test gas on civilians on own planet, I must report it to Lord Harrison.
When I landed on planed, I saw utter destruction, spot where rocked exploded was clear, not so big damage from explosion, small fire, which was already of, death trees with no leaves, animals, and people lying everywhere, black skin turning in ashes, like burned in fire, all died almost at once, no signs of trying to escape. Newer seen something so terrible like this. My stomach was protesting, and lucky for me I had no food for long time. Then, I recognized where the wind blows, only 3 miles away there is my village and all that invisible death goes there.
I never made 3 miles so fast like that day, all around the way, I saw, that the gas was still efficient, death trees everywhere in first two miles, the closer to my village I was, more of trees had still leaves, I had hope, that my village was too far away for that terrible death.
But when I enter my village, hope was lost, people on groud, they were not black yet, and I saw in they face that they know, the will die.
My family house, my mother, father, to find them inside, I had to cross over death body of my best friend on doorstep.
My sister, that most beautiful girl I remember was not here, maybe she managed to escape.
I went outside, and out of village to find if anyone escaped, just behind last house, there was figure, when I come closer, I recognize that it was woman, and when I get to her, I saw in her arm small boy, and around her neck necklace,which I gave my sister just last day at home.
Than I have memories of anger, and my blood heat with need for revenge. Someone must die for that, and when I find who give order to test this weapon, I kill him.
“Colonel Williams, colonel Williams, do you hear me. Copy.”
I do not know how long I hold my sister death body, but it must be for long, she started to turn in ashes already.
I used all mental power left in my tortured mind and answered.
“Williams to ship, test successful, no sign of life in area, gas works perfectly, in miles area, wind can bring it possibly even longer distance.”
“I´m on the way back to shuttle.”
I started to investigate who is responsible for this, and due to my access, I very quickly find out that this horrible thing was ordered directly by Lord Harrison.
Something is wrong here, all my dreams about good Lord were gone, like if someone put of curtain from my eyes, and I saw in which terror all we live.
Two days after the test I get new mission.
“Colonel, this is your chance to prove who you are, and show your value to Lord Harrison.
Terrorist and rebel Daniel Marcus is trying to seize the power and thrown our great empire in chaos of war, due to his need to rule and dominate, you prove to be the best of best, and thus, you have the privilege to see Lord Harrison personally and he tell you what must be done.”
He is awaiting you.”
Just after the door open, I heard end of last sentence” that weapon allow me to rule whole space.”
Than i saw him, he, the master of tyranny, in his eyes it was, so cruelty and disrespect to everything.
His voice was so cold.
“So, Colonel Wilkinson, your service was till now exemplary good, your task is simple, find and kill Daniel Marcus, come back when will have prove of his death. Here are permissions for you to ask whatever you need, and you find in the files last known location of him. Prove yourself as the best one, and my reward will be great. You served to Empire fabulously till now, so do not disappoint me. GO.”
That were most challenging time for me, murderer of my family, and me, in one room, me unarmed, and he, far away behind big table, and all the guard with big guns, only training i had, helped me not to jump on him with hopeless try to kill him with bare hands.
“Yes my Lord, i will not disappoint you, and the death of Daniel Marcus is as sure as the sunrise next day.”
One of my best abilities were always incredible catching sight of every detail, so i saw in one file: CoD, ulitimate weapon, floor 12, room 12056, research.
Nice revenge I thought when I was leaving, use Lord Harrison weapon against him, lets steal it.
It took me two days to make all preparation, I collect as many as possible information about Lord Harrison weapons, positions, plans, codes, maps, all what could be used against him, second day I spend with searching for location of CoD. Strange place, but I found it in old prison which were used in ages ago, but now with rule of god Lord Harrison is should be unused.
I let order for staff in spaceport to prepare my ship, and with dark a start my breaking into unused prison on the outskirt of the Harrison City. When I came over 3 guards and was already in, for abandoned building, it was pretty overcrowded, hundreds and hundreds prisoners, guards, other stuff, this prison was pretty busy.
Lucky for me, with plans of building, I sneak to 12 floor easily without unnecessary killing.
When I came to prison cell 12056, I was not surprised much, there was no weapon, jut some prisoner, lying on floor.
It seem to me strange to hide Child of Destiny to prison, weapons development is in different planet.
When I was looking in cage, person lying there gat up and come closer to me, when it come closer from shadow to poor light from coridor, I saw it was girl about 12 years, horibly wounded from long torturing, and when she look at me, ma heart almost stop to work, her face, so similar to my sister when I saw her last time.
Then I decided, that at least her, I have to rescue.
Get in cell was easy, but once I was in, I recognized, that for small girl there were many alarms, why?
“Les get away” I whispered to girl.
She only nod slightly.
“Can you walk?” I must ask her, because i cannot miss horrbile marks on leg from torturing, how and why can anyone torture so small girl?
She shrug her shoulders.
“Can you speak?”
Her head mowed with NO.
Actually, no wonder, after all of that what happen to her, lost of voice, is nothing surprising.
I took her over shoulder, and escaped with her as fast as possible. Lucky form me when we get to spaceport, almost everyone was sleeping, and guards check my id card and papers, did not look in my car, but who will not trust someone with Lord personal allowance in his papers?
To find Daniel Marcus was for me easy job. with all information I gave him, he quickly contact all other known rebels, and rest you know.
Lord Harrison was death, and I hope that my help to Daniel Marcus justify all that blood on my hands in Lord Harrison service.
Girl I saved from prison I took with me, she did not speak anymore, but she healed from worst, just terrible stigmata remind what she experienced.
Me and her start to travel in space. I hoped that one day I will find her family, until that i gave her name Elisabeth after the queen from fairytales which my sister loved so much.
Lot of time passed from time when Lord Harrison died.

We will go to planet Utopia 6, there is friendly fleet now, I´m sure, that no one can be danger for as there, and assassins attack we are afraid not, who could threaten the best assassin ever, me!
