Mod Crash

Recently, i'm trying to create a mod. So, I went in the wiki, followed the instruction, made a part, put it in my mod, and when i tryed to activate it in the mod manager, i had that crash report.

It seemed to be a syntax error. The error could be due to incomplete statement before line 18 at mod.txt. For example, missing closing double-quote (")

The only thing i have at line 18 is a left bracket...
I used Walt's example mod, and that left bracket is the start of a action. Do you even need a left braacket to start an action?

So, i appeared to have fixed it. I deleted a unused pairs of bracket, and it appeared in the mod manager. But again, as a mod newbie, i don't know how things works... now, it said a warning saying that my mod might not be compatible with my cosmoteer version. how do i make my mod compatible?

Two feedback

1) Actions

All Action were to be enclosed within Actions in square brackets. In turn, individual Action is defined within curly brackets:

Actions [
 	{
		Action = AddMany
		...
	}
 	{
		Action = Replace
		...
	}
]

2) CompatibleGameVersions parameter

Matou1612 now, it said a warning saying that my mod might not be compatible with my cosmoteer version. how do i make my mod compatible?

Cosmoteer 0.12.11 added a new parameter, CompatibleGameVersions, at mod.txt.

CompatibleGameVersions = [
	"0.13.0_rc2"
	"0.13.0_rc1"
	"0.12.12"
	"0.12.12_rc1"
]

The parameter acts like a set/array of strings, with empty space as delimiter.

Note

Error log is modders' best friend. Most mod-related error is shown on the first long line. You may post at least the first line of error log to give us some clue to start with.

Matou1612 To make your mod compatible with a version of Cosmoteer you add in this

CompatibleGameVersions = ["0.13.0_rc2"]

Also I've changed this from tech-support to mod-development as it fits better in the latter.
