Soon, I'll release a new version which will allow higher tech levels to use lower ones. Entry price will be exorbitant in part to balance against vanilla, too. The phaser lance will be fixed (nothing was wrong with the lance just unknown effects handling issue).
Afterward I will transition older parts from 0.9.x and 0.10.x to use their intended ammo as far as is available atm. This means torpedo launchers will grow in size to meet their true target size. This change affects the corner launchers the most. The others should be fine they will be just longer. Until production parts are available reserve lots space! Vanilla ammo and batteries will remain in use until then. Further changes will grow the whole torpedo system for the next releases.
The same transition will be applied to antimatter/antiproton systems.
