As some of you may know this mod has been lying around for months. I've stopped work on it because I hit the limitations of the WIP game and there didn't seem to be anything to done about it.
As Walt has mentioned the coming versions 0.11.3+ will have changes to weapons graphics and effects.
So I'm providing these outdated versions of the mod for historical and prosperity reasons.

This mod was created with Cosmoteer versions 0.9xx and does work with version 0.913.
Don't forget to make backups!
I have not tested it for version 0.10.xx but I think it should work up to version 0.10.4. If you try you probably will have to do modifications to the configuration files as they change from version to version as well as folder they are stored.
It's a simple mod with new graphics by me imitating or modifying those of Cosmoteer's.
I just started out so there's nothing fancy yet.

All you need do is unpack in the installation folder and overwrite existing files if prompted.
I'm providing the backups of those files, too, in case you didn't think about doing it beforehand.

Read the readme for trouble shooting. This is mostly due to bitmap management overrun. Simply remove images as instructed.

This is only the adapted version for Cosmoteer version 0.11.3 since Cosmoteer got a new UI starting with 0.10.5 with new graphical changes which will not work with the earlier mod.

In this version I already removed excessive bitmaps to account for the newly introduced parts of the game.
In other words the mod scratches on the game's part limit due to bitmaps. If you try to add new parts of your own to the library the game might crash just because of this. The cue word for this in the logs is "Atlas".

Well, have fun as long as it lasts.

With Cosmoteer version 0.11.5 introducing new effects this mod has been adjusted to work with them.
It has received effects of it's own.

Works with Cosmoteer v.0.11.6. New parts added and tweaked the early effects. Since this supercedes the earlier version 0.2 I've removed it for good.
With this I think I covered most everything. Don't expect anything new soon. Have fun!

This version is not compatible with previous Cosmoteer versions!
Armor wedge form 2x1 has been removed to make way for the new vanilla armor wedge 1x2. All related parts have been adjusted to be compatible with the vanilla version. As a result all 2x1 wedge forms from earlier builds have to be reposition & reorientated. This applies to feather thruster 2x1, hull wedge2x1.
This version adds some new parts and some drones.

Improved technology level handling/description; now higher tiers can use lower ones at a higher starting cost.
Fixed minor graphics errors. Crashing ion beam hit effects removed from phaser lance/neutral particle beam; shouldn't crash anymore. Mines from dispenser made slower & tougher. Antimatter & torpedo transition parts added. Only some are used. I'll keep the existing torpedo launchers for those wishing to build small scale ships. Their stats will be lowered once they are replaced by full scale equivalent parts.
Antimatter support system work will be done in cooperation with @Skynet. Other production work will be done in cooperation with @IVIemories. Therefore, future releases will in part require corresponding mods.
Some new parts: escape pod (berth) etc.

      GhostTaker Just go to pulse_plasma_shot.txt and change "/SHAKES/ShakeClose" to "/SHAKES/Shake".
      Loos like I didn't copy the working file over into the package. -_-; My bad.

          GhostTaker Just download again. Should work now. These were just the differences between the old and new graphics engine.

              I'm going to add two more weapons parts (phaser beam & antiproton) soon and revamp or tweak some of the effects. Well, I already have them done but getting them to work as intended isn't straight forward. So it will be up either tonight or sometime this weekend.

                  GhostTaker It's the name of the people also known as athathathathathathath _ athathathathathathathath ("Carsarh Gereulacr") and translated means "Kin of the Stars", "Klan der Sterne", Les parents des étoiles, La stirpe delle stelle, «Звёздное семейство», " 별들의 권속", 〔星たちの眷族〕 ( Hoshitachi no kenzoku), 羣星的眷屬 etc.
