Hi Mc2, nice to finally meet you. I joined just recently myself.
I was born sometime in the middle of the last millennium. That said, we did not have internet (we played outside, rode our bikes), we did not have recorded movies we could watch (4 TV channels with crappy antenna reception), we did not have cell phones (rotary phones). We certainly did not have computers in school, let alone in our homes. My first experience with gaming was with the Atari 2600 console and it was the first time we could hook anything into our televisions (remember, no VHS, Betamax, CD, DVD, etc..) My first computer I bought by making money working in a library in the next town. I got it in '82 and it was a mighty Texas Instruments TI99-4A computer with 16K RAM and 16 colors!!! Its where I learned to program and make my own games.
