Casual_Owl i checked akindelawar has player unknown battlegrounds, so his gear probably ain't that crappy. plus, he seems more like a random comedy blogger who occasionally reviews indie games.
i also checked baronvongames, but he doesn't seem to review "hidden gems". most of his vids were just all about battle field, war thunder, call of duty, etc..
i check steam frequently. so i'm looking for games that haven't even made it to steam yet.
ie : i found out and started raving about rimworld before it even hit it big on steam (i actually bought it back when it was still alpha 1). i know cosmoteer is also gonna hit it big once it hits steam (probably after it adds the survival components. coz iirc there already were 4x games like star drive that allowed players to create customized ships and fleets. plus, it's a 4x game so it gives more gameplay aside from ship building or just multiplayer battle arena.. and iirc, there already are some ship building multiplayer battle arenas out there. some 2d, some 3d. but i'm not a fan of mobas)
Mc2 i'm always looking for new indie games coz they tend to be more innovative with their gameplay mechanics. i'm rarely impressed by the graphics. (heck i play DF and cataclysm) 🙂
though i also play games like shadow of war, witcher 3, skyrim/fallout with mods, etc.. (but mostly coz i enjoy the gameplay, not coz they got sweet graphics)
