the entire debate of Star Trek vs Star Wars has the trek side saying that theirs is more realistic and human, and the star wars fans say that their tech is cooler
in reality, the reason why star trek is more realistic is because it is our universe, it is a possible future, not a galaxy far, far, away
and of course the tech in star wars is cooler because the star wars universe has had advanced (as in space stage) civilizations for millions upon millions of years, while most of the space-faring races of star trek are much younger
