A faction of humanoid creatures, that nobody now can tell what they can be considered. They are obsessed with the idea of modifying their bodies, to the point they cannot be recognised. Some of their body parts are artificial, some of their insides are replaced and they have multiple brain implants.
They prefer defense over offence, but if something comes to attacking, they really refer kinetic weapons
(like mass drivers or just cannons). Some of their ships are basically just flamethrowers, capable of destroying really big ships by spreading fire.
They don't like using FTL drives so they are now trying to discover a new technology to warp their ships without placing FTL directly on the ships.
