A very small, quick mod, but a cool looking one that actually works pretty smoothly. This mod is more of a proof-of-concept rather than a serious mod. If I make a weapons pack in the future I'll probably include some version of this in it.
-Adds one new weapon, the Beam Point Defense System. Fires a continuous beam that destroys any missiles in its path.

YEZ finally I needed something like this!!

    Updated to 0.0.2:
    -increased laser range
    -increased laser accuracy
    -decreased laser turn speed
    -increased laser spread (a little bit)
    -other misc balance changes

    4 days later

    Updated to 0.0.3:
    -New graphics
    -Changed laser colour to blue
    -Decreased laser range
    -Increased laser accuracy (significantly)
    -Other minor changes

      Celestia although it is only a PD, this mod is one of those that deserve to be added to the game.

      An idea:
      -You could make them in different colors!

          I was going to add something like this to my weapons pack, do you mind if I made it an add-on to my mod?

            FireShredder24 if you're just reusing the code/assets, I would probably like you to credit the mod near the top of your forum thread with a link, but otherwise yeah you can put it in your pack.

              Celestia Ok, thanks. I might just use your code as a model for what I make or use your code and my sprites. I dont know for sure, but probably the former.

                      I've got an idea! what about using laser defense not only against missiles but also cannon projectiles that were fired at you.
