We respect that you want to defend your allies. But we are at war with them, and do not have any interest in creating another enemy. Which is why we shall not attack the Blood Cult until any Cult vessel has opened fire on the TA while not defending the borders of the Moira.
You may wonder why we do this, so I will explain.
If the Cult does not want to join this war, but still defend their allies, they shall protect their borders, and everything within them. The TA, in the case we want to attack, will then attack the Moira, and if everything goes to plan, destroy their ships. Any Cult vessels that were protecting those ships will be attacked and destroyed just as if they were a part of the Moira. If and when the Moira launches a retalliation strike, we expect the Blood Cult to not be a part of the attack.
If any Cult vessel is seen in Terran Alliance territory, we must presume you do not only wish to defend your allies, but also want to wage war. This means we will then fight the Blood Cult.
We of course do not wish for this to happen, so this is why we want to clarify this to you.
Just to make it clear:
- The TA will attack any ship defending the Moira.
- The TA will not wage war with any faction defending the Moira.
- Any faction that does more than just defending Moira territory will become a target to the TA.
- When the war is over, and a faction has defended Moira territory but not participated in attacks against the TA, they will not be prosecuted, they will not be blacklisted, and they will not be blamed, they will be treated like victims of the war.
