jbox1's flag mod features community made flags for any faction, ship, or... well anything. You can submit your own flag designs on this thread, too, and most likely they will be added to the mod.

Flag Designs

I will not be designing the flags myself (There are only so many things I can do), but you can design and make your own flags for the mod! Here are a few recommendations so you get the best results:

  • Square flags. Rectangular flags will just be squeezed to fit the square design, but that can look rather hideous. If you must use a rectangular design, add some 0 alpha space above and below your flag design to make it square.
  • Clear Design. Your flag will be very small. Until I add bigger flags, be sure you make your flag with a very clear design so it can be easily seen.
  • PNG Files. This isn't a requirement, but I would prefer you submitted flags as a PNG file, to make my life easier when adding your flag to the mod.

Upcoming features

  • Medium Flags. Double sized flags that are easier to read
  • Large Flags. Quadruple sized flags for very large ships
  • Huge Flags. Flags 8 times bigger, enough to make "Star" envious.
  • More Flags: Keep those designs coming!

                          Oh my... Another flag mod, now there are 3 xD, you better make it good, cuz youre competing against me and someone else, but my flag mod wont update soon, cuz im bussy

                          Oh, and with GifMaker.me you can create animations you can put on your post so we can see how the flags look like

                          Namek unfortunately, the flags are not animated. If I were to do that, I would need to make at least 5 new sprites of each flag, multiply that by 10 flags (at least for now) and your already at 50 flags that each need to be drawn and designed. I might be able to do it using code, but image manipulation via code is beyond me. For now, they are just static flags. Don’t worry however, in the future I am definitely animating them! (Or otherwise they are just boring sprites!)

                                      Jup, cuz I animate my flags, but you are right, its really exsausting to do that, but I hope you will animate them soon, so I will make my flags even better, and then you do the same, and then we imrpove eachother
