Walt ok, thanks!

GhostTaker Yes, shouldn't be a problem since mine can handle up to 204x204. I got other things to do so I'll do it on weekend.

Loading isn't a problem but you can't save when parts are out of bounds. So the board size has to fit the ship for you to be able to save.

    Lafiel ok

Lafiel i also build an munificent class star frigate and a Arquitaens class light cruiser and some other ships:

Found a good bottom view for the mask and some time so I started on with the Malevolence earlier. Took a while to get the nose paint right with just eye measurement.

      Malevolence

      Type: Heavy Cruiser/Dreadnough
      Version: standard
      Mass: 11396.3 tons
      Cost: 5,505,850
      Crew: 924
This well armed and shielded behemoth was designed to fight the republican clone army. With at least as much firepower as a two Venators it can chase and tear any Venator down by itself. It's main bidirectional ion cannons can disable any ship. As with most big ships its maneuverability is below average. And it needs escorts to survive on the battlefield.

Lafiel oh my gosh, its perfect!!!!!!!

did you know the class was called "Subjugator class" and the malevolence had an sister ship called the Devastation.

GhostTaker No, but I look up the wiki. I'm not so much interested in Star Wars as far as designs and technology go. The reason being it's pretty much fantasy pseudo technology for ~12-14 year old kids. Pretty primitive stuff. And most of the designs or art these days have their inspirations from 30's scjfi mags, anime, design studies etc. Nothing I haven't seen in their original form already. New things are very rare about 1-2% at most.
        For example:

From an old anime, The Enemy's the Pirates, from 1989. Or maybe it's Gall Force from 1986.... Note the similarity to Star Wars/Battlestar Galactica 2003.
Or the new Star Trek Beyond movie, Starbase Yorktown.

From Martian Successor Nadesico: The Motion Picture – Prince of Darkness from 1998.
The list is too long so I don't bother. Funny thing is I made a design as a kid that not only looked exactly but functions the same (no surprise of course) to the new X-wing. I was also inspired by some anime I don't remember which one to create a tactical hologram projector long before Star Trek Voyager showed it. Then again NexGen, DS9, VOY, ENT,+ Star Trek is full of anime references, designs, and names.

        5 days later

Lafiel i cant seem to get the "triangle" shape of star destroyers right, it always looks bad if i do them.
so i wanted to ask if you also made a Imperial I or II class star destroyer!?

EDIT: nevermind, i remembered that you could import shapse via a png file.
i got a pic of a star destroyer turned it white made the background transparent made it smalled, imported it to cosmoteer.
and i found out that beeing in blueprint mode inceases my fps while building from 1 to up to 57, here she is:

        Imperial I class Star Destroyer:

GhostTaker No, and no, not yet.

Yeah, I guess without the simulation running in blueprint mode it is easier for slow computers. I just saw some footage about a "Pride of the Core" from SW:Republic at War game. Looks like fan fiction from the game creators.

Lafiel Yeah, I guess without the simulation running in blueprint mode it is easier for slow computers.

Without blueprint mode, the game also has to do a lot more on-the-fly construction legality checks to make sure you don't ever make an illegal ship. Since blueprint mode lets you make illegal ships, it only has to do those checks whenever you make actual changes.

          3 months later

I have made a venetor class star destroyer
