The Great community ships mod for Bounty Hunter (v1.5 out now)

ZyerFire Its okay, I am deleting the offending ships from the mod on my computer. But, if you do create a new version where all ships have at least a gun, then I would be grateful when you update the mod in the future with new ships.

Normally, I would not mind one or two with no weapon, but it seems half the ships I come across have no gun. Its like free money and free FTL fuel. And its just not fun. 🤷

I just had a battle against 2 gun-less wonders. I just stuck it on 4x speed...

Now, if the AI would run away if it had no guns left, then that would be fun to try and hunt them down before they escape. But no, they fly right at my ship like they are bristling with weapons. They must be high on drugs...

Mc2 I have already learned a lot by visiting this forum, and looking at the very good ships others have been making. And I see I am still a rash beginner when it comes to decent ships. The ships I have made have no problem against the games ships, but the ships you guys are making blow mine away!

Mc2 the trick to missile kiting is simple. get more missiles. you can never have enough missiles. 🙂

Attention to all who added your ships to the drive!!!!

Please ensure that your ships follow the rules that I have in the top post (Thanks to all of you guys that followed them 🙂) You have till Saturday to ensure that everything is in order. For all that haven't followed the rules will be removed from the mod. And make sure your ships have a name other than things like this "W2Da2dd" "t4dB6A4I"(stuff like that) and that it ends with ".ship.png"

ZyerFire I have a question. I looked at the first post and didn't see any obvious rules. Where are the rules? I am not sure I am following them since I don't know where they are.

Rules should now be clear to all who have added their ships and to those who will in the future add their ships

Your missing the rule for 'sensible ship names', not using random letters and numbers.

There should probably also be a rule for 'complete ships only', not components, etc.. The folders should contain ships that can be used as enemies.
