This is the leader of Offworld, N. Your usage of living flesh in constructing ships and even weapons genuinely interests me personally. As so, I would quite like to make a personal deal. I will send you a single Roamer of our small fleet, you shall upgrade it with the Blood and send it back. The ship will contain a bundle of 500 thousand credits in it for your work and 6 crewmen for another task. If you wish, you may perform any experiment that you see useful in improving the human's agility and loyalty. A large anti-matter explosion illuminated the sector, from just one hit of the mega-powerful (and probably more OP than a death star laser) Lucifer cannon. The Blood Cult super ship, unsurprisingly, was not affected by the explosion, as it was too far away.

Surprisingly, however, something had survived the destruction of the Subcore. It seemed to be a black chunk of debris. Inside it, there was a signal. It wasn't biological, but it was definitely telepathic...

Whatever counts for a Blood Cult Pilot or Captain of the Lucifer living ship suddenly detected more Rift-Space signatures forming around them, and so they braced for a fight. At the last moment, however, they dissipated without a single ship coming through. Terror seemed to be prominent in the waning artificial signatures before everything just... powered down and died.

The Psionic link remains, beckoning.

RandomCommander the crimson alliance sense the signal from the bloodcult space , feeling something isn't right , the crimson alliance send a blockade runner (configured to use bloodcult technology) warps in , took all the debris in the near vicinity of the signal and warp out

zergRush99 the Lucifer surprisingly have already cooldown the main cannon , tho due to alliance issue , the Lucifer hesitant to fire , allowing the blockade runner to go back to the homesystem of the crimson alliance

RandomCommander That I remember there is no Lucifer Cannon, Lucifer is the ship itself. (What caused that magnificent spectacle was the Eye of Doom, and also the beautiful primal hunters cannons)

Dumb It was a bit hazardous to warp into anti-matter radiation, but DC Antimatter was specially-made to mitigate destructive capacity in all but the core ships, which aren't as efficient at mitigating such a dramatic combustion (Destroying Coreships is a big deal, so much so that I avoid situations where they would get one-shot. Subcores are okay, though.) So I suppose your blockade runner got lucky.

What troubles me, however, is that now you took away the reward for the Blood Cult for your own faction.

Dumb It's not as dangerous as you think. It's basically a chunk of data that can be absorbed psionically. Or telepathically. Or somehow directly through the brain.
