The way I mean Broadside is that it is a thin, two sided ship like a wall

                                          **THE RULES**

-must be a broadside ship (as described above)

-cannot be over 250 corridors long, or wide

-the width has to be 1/2 the length or vice-versa if you build it the other way

-must cost less than or equal to 4.5 million

This would be more accessible with a smaller size limit and larger width limit. Lots of people use the standard build box and your extra length is just going into repetition there. And then you run into a hard width limit of 25, which is kind of harsh.

I could submit something, but I'd have to switch on the large build box mod and stretch it with boring repeating segments to get the ratio right... Or I could just paste two of them end to end with struts. I'll match your boring, repetitive, overlarge design by boringly repeating a more interesting design.

It's a full energy ship. So what's the best tactic against a Full Energy Ship? Cannons and Electro-Bolts!
Use against it These Weapons.

The good old Broadsword is still handing a Hand over in any broadsider battle.
Tough against a non Broadsider it still need's assistance especially against These that are the same or more Design Worthy, because 1 side = Half the Design Price.

Torpedo Salvo

It's a COMPLETE supporter ship, it cant maintenant main fire at itself, so it Needs a Company to be safe.
It's Shooting a whole salvo at the very beginning, though it's no match against a well protected Point Defense Ship.
