upgrading your ships
TheSketchyMoose yeah. often why we remove storages is so we can get power with the reactor instead of having an special amount right at the place. we can then have auto regenerative energy supply.

I like your design, you did a pretty decent job there. Splitting up your shield and missile modules is an excellent way to ensure your shields would not be ignored by your missile crew, but there were a few flaws in your overall design.
Splitting up the crew means twice the reactors for each section, plus having only a single factory per launcher means your rate of fire is limited to 9 factories. The missile storage allows you some buffer for a couple of shots more before the rate of fire drops and it helps to stagger your rate of fire (sometimes drops to load some into storage, then increases as those missile parts are loaded) which is good for overwhelming PD.
The biggest issue is that having so many reactors and no armour between the parts meant that it is extremely vulnerable once the shields are down to chain explosions. This is especially so for your missile launchers and factories as they are literally besides each other. However given how fast it runs out of missile parts, it may not be an issue as there might not be enough to explode and cause a chain.
After that, your rate of fire could be improved significantly if you used more factories. I've done up a modification to your ship that increases the average rate of fire by maybe around 50% at least. However, it also is a lot more vulnerable to ammo explosions given your current design area.
Overall you did quite a good job with your ship already, it is very functionable if you intend to use it with the idea of suboptimal missile production for explosion safety or for initial burst firing.
Okay this one you might like. This is my capital ship for bounty mode. It is sooo bad. I have tier 1 and 2 but I want a tier 3. One with better logistics and shields. It is so weak and can be killed quickly. It was the best I could do though. Please upgrade with keeping the basic design in mind. I like the shape (if it has to change a little that's ok). Have a go!

mystery_player erm. sorry if i havnt respond to thoose. im taking a break from cosmoteer upgrading. i will not forget to upgrade your ships. but i might do it a bit of later. and what do you mean with have fun. sorry if you get a bit of upset. i am playing a new game and i like it and i dont have much time with upgrading. i will be back and upgrade them. just have a bit patience.

lord_drageon well today im a bit of tired but i made it so it has modules. i think thats the best way of making ships better. but not much more changes. since i dont think you want so much shields because the main design doesnt have that many.
taht is a pretty bad ship so lets hope u can help it
