I would be open to writing the parts and adding the suggestions to the mod, If you supply the sprites it will get done even quicker. However if you do not, it will likely only be added if I take a big liking to the idea and bother to make it myself. So if you have any ideas on parts, and would like to make the sprites for it please post about it here:

For making sprites, a 1x1 block is 64px by 64px Meaning if you wanted a 2x2 it would be 128x128 and so on. Sprites can be made in anything from photoshop, to paint.net, to gimp, to aesprite, and so on as long as you can save as a png with alpha(so not mspaint). You can submit them here with a description of what they do.

    Bubbet Is it possible to do a cockpit with a gun?

        can you mod advanced versions of the parts availeble in the stock game?

          Can you make something similar to the MAC cannons from halo? It would be very helpful to be able to make unsc ships with them

            Is it possible to make a hangar mod so like a ship holds even more smaller ships i know that is a hard idea but like a cargo-ship with more space-ships

                    I have some ideas with something like booster aura emiters.

                    For instance Static Shield Device produses round aura that lower damage to all parts contain in. Coverage can viewed like FTL green to red gradient. In green close range gain -50% damage and bonus become -0% in end of range (red zone). Two identical devices not sum values. Green zone is maximum efeciency. Red is out of range.

                    Same with second booster is Weapon Empower Device. Difference only in bonus type. Here is +20% damage bonus max in green zone.
                    Weapon Aiming Device is +20% max range.
                    Engine Boost Device is +20% thruster force.

                    Now I dont have ideas how it can be implemented, but maybe you know something here ;-)

                      a whole lot of astatine parts, all of which r powerful but explosive!
                      astatine factory, produces astatine.
                      astatine thrusts both thrust and deal massive damage to everything in the way of the exhaust
                      astatine cannon. many times more powerful than cannon
                      and a big astatine cannon
                      and finally, astatine missiles, which have astatine missile factorys, and the only dif between ast and norm missile is the astaatine makes a bigger boom!

                      lord_drageon I'll look at actually including some of those ideas, particularly that thruster sounds pretty nice.

                      Bubbet yeah, and also i thought of an interesting weapon, a strange energy feild like a sheild but it deals damage. and another on that deals more damage the faster it is going relative to its target. that one would make a stupid combo with the astatine thrust.
