can some one make a mod that adds superweapons?

    ImTired You could make it a 4 x 8 ion beam that destroys all, it would also make all blocks explode.

    So basically, make it have way too much splash and way too much damage.

          Amazing_Goob Well, I have completed the Death Star Laser for months since around 0.12.7/8. The reason it's not been published was due to Cosmoteer 0.12 bugs regarding beams & new effects handling and hit handling. Since, many have been fixed with 0.12.12 (not all yet) it will be released soon with the Star Wars ACD mod. There is room for a certain future feature which would make the DS laser upgradeable in terms of firepower. It already can be upgraded in a different way... I've already coded all the Turbo Lasers so they will come when graphics, tweaking and fine-tuning are done by Classicjam.

          Superweapons are a planned feature for ACD. Not sure if they are coming in 0.3.0 or after, but Death Star laser is garunteed, and there are some other thing i'd like to try to make.

                Amazing_Goob Eh, SW is pretty low level primitive compared to other universes like Star Trek, unless you count all the "recent" copy cat ideas. Well, pretty much everything since the classics have been shopping design ideas from elsewhere. (e.g. station in STAR WARS: The Old Republic<= Abh starbase; planet weapon<=Gal Force; relativistic asteroids<=LoGH; infinity wave<=Yamato wave motion weapon; dark reaper<=final fantasy7/star ocean2; mass shadow etc.)

                Also there's a limit what can be modded now. At some point there's no real technical difference other than graphics. Pretty much everything else in the video can't be done. The DS laser I've coded will be able to cover all variations especially with the future feature. However, note there's a mathematical limit to how powerful a weapon can get in-game. So the build-expansion related increase in firepower is limited. The same goes for damage simulation which could cause a crash.

                  Everyone, please calm down. The Star Wars: ACD mod will be adding superweapons sometime in the not-too-distant future! A Death Star Laser is confirmed, however it is likely the Malevolence Ion Weapon will be added! I'm currently focusing on the Films, CW, and Rebels. There are some EU things in the mod, but I'm waiting a while until I go full EU, etc.

                  ClassicJam Not to mention, the new movies will not be added into the mod at all. The Force Awakens was a bit of a disappointment to me. I'm more likely to add Old Republic things instead. The upcoming Last Jedi film will seal the fate for new movie features.
