The name's going to need changing because it's no longer a fork. The tines interfere with fields of fire, which would have prevented effective point defense from being installed, and it really needs point defense.

Never been the brightest with vanilla design. In fact, I rarely ever play with vanilla. This ship was an experiment to see if I could build something without mods.
(Yes, its turnspeed is awful)

Alpha I did intentionally, to provide cover from singular weapons on ships in the same price range.

bluurgh The cannon feels too open while the armor seems a bit excessive. It might help while trying to flank, but flanking is better done with a focus on mobility rather than defense. Passable/10
DocSlime My opinion is that cannons should use the ability to aim, otherwise they just become a worse version of the ion beam.
Alpha I was experimenting with a heavier focus on armor, this isn't really meant to compete with "meta" ships, just for testing. Maybe there's an interesting design to be discovered, like the community's rail spinners.

please do not exceed 100k as this is my budget ship (it is already 100k exactly so the only thing you can really do is move around objects and replace other parts with others.)

This is a little heavier, meaning slower, but if you swap out some of the side and rear armor for structure it's lighter than the original. Which you want just depends on how you want to use the ship.
