hello, im new here, and english isnt my first language, so please bear with me :3
while i was playing the game, i noticed a crack or pop sound every so often (like every 15-20 seconds), but it wasnt really that annoying.. and forgot quite fast about it.
that being said, i began modding my game, and the moment i installed ABH, and played for a little bit, it began cracking and popping every half of a second whenever there were sound effect playing. the game also seemed to lag a few frames with each pop
i have a G933 logitech headphones
so i have tried a few things, thinking my headphones were busted. first thing i tried was swapping the reciever with other usb ports, no dice
then, i tried unplugging all usb devices exept for the reciever, still plopping sounds
then i found a way around it. getting a 3.5mm male to male audio cable, and plugging it in the back of my screen (and sending the audio through the displayport cable), or plugging it into my motherboard made both the lag and plopping noises dissapear. i spoke to someone with the exact same issues using a razor 7.1 headphones.
but it isnt 7.1 surround issue. i had a cheaper usb pair of headphones laying around, and that one too makes popping noises. so its definitly a USB audio issue
