You can save and load as a group, but I think there should be a way to separate each fighter so they can move independently, without having to destroy a connected fighter between them. A part like an explosive charge, perhaps?

I do fast tag for it or some tag 4 to 8 like group split tag like "1R 2R R3 R4 <> L1 L2 L3 L4" "R = right L = left".
