Me Money. Me give money how? Me want to give money to get the unlocked demo then eventually full game, then me play game. Me like the big booms, purty colors, Amazing game. Me never put in 40 hours on a demo before.

SludgeNoseBlack the full release is not yet ready, you’ll have to wait until Walt believes the beta polished enough for release to a lot more players.

Well then I wish everyone working on it the best!

He started this game back in 2011 so I hope it doesnt take too much longer. I don't understand the logic behind only giving out beta keys to popular twitch/youtubers FOR FREE and not letting the rest of us who want to buy the game even when its still in beta. I am getting a bad feeling about this games release in 2022 because

      1. Only a few keys were given out.
      2. To my understanding there is no way to support this game besides being a modder/streamer. (so if something happens financially and he needs some extra cash flow there is none... which could slow the game release even further.) I don't think I need to go into the details of why financial support is important.
      3. This game has been in development since 2011 so statistically it could go on for another 10+ years.
      4. The release date has changed multiple times.
I have learned to listen to my gut feelings and this is my guts translation.
Hopefully I am wrong on every aspect.

hundreds of key were distributed for the beta test, not just for streamers but also for regular players who filled the form and were chosen

i'm sure there is a reason Walt isn't asking for money, so no need to worry about it

the game has been confirmed for 2022, now it's a matter of what will be ready or not for the release

      SludgeNoseBlack

      1. About 200-300 keys were given to community members and streamers for free as its a beta, meaning its for testing the game and making any needed changes and fixing bugs, this is not a AAA game where a "beta" is just for promotional material
      2. Walt has chosen to not take people's money as then people may feel scammed if they game does not live up to their standards however the the release of the new Early Acces build around the corner this will luckily change.
      3. I don't see how this is a bad thing? Seems to just be a random shot in the dark, the game does not need to live forever.
      4. The game never had any changes in the expected release date other then when it was bumped back from (i think) 2020 to 2022.

I suggest you pay attention in the discord as that's the place to be to get all the updates and see the games progression.
