the rules
1- you are to create 1 ship of each of the folowing values: [1 to 1.000.000] [1.000.001 to 2.000.000] and [2.000.001 to 3.000.000]
2- you are not to create unappropriate or useless ships
3- you are not to create meta ships, ships made purely for combat or ships the A.I cant use
4- walt can deny any faction or ship if he thinks the ships won't fit in cosmoteer
5- you are to submit your ships in #design-contest-submissions on the cosmoteer discord
6- you are not to use any mods, build-in or otherwise
7- you are to make a faction of 3 ships, this needs to be visible at first glance (aka similar design consepts like in colour, shape and/or theme)
8- for the sake of the steam release it is recomended that your ships are one of the 4 official factions, or are similar to one (see '4 factions')

4 factions
-Cabal are exotic in color and shape and usually asymmetric and have a focus on energy weapons
-Fringe are broken down in color and shape, and are weaker than the other three factions
-Imperium are red and pointy, almost always diagonal, have exclusive access to nukes and are supposed to be stronger than the other three factions
-Monolith are blue and blocky, lacking 1x2 sloped blocks and have a focus on ammunition weapons

rewards
first place: your ships are added as build-ins, you get the discord role and your name goes in the games credits
second and third place: your ships are added as build-ins and your name goes in the games credits
walt gets to pick a few factions to add to the game if he so chooses

this is a design tournament so you should focus on design
By submitting ships to this contest, you are giving Walt permission to include those ships as a built-in ships in Cosmoteer, if he so chooses
the cosmoteer community will vote for the winning factions in #tournament-announcements on google forms
