The Thral'Koh are a highly intelligent and magically concentrated species, devolving from their religious beliefs. Their tech is quite advanced, thought mostly because of their outstanding magical systems. They have 8 solar systems under their control while also having rendered 12 solar systems entirely inhabitable
History
- Once, long ago, the God of this faction was a benevolent entity, who brought only good to the Cult's planet. Some did not accept this God, and caused much more destruction in its wake, leading to a massive shift in the faction's view of the God. Those who remained loyal to the God were granted magical powers. The followers, no longer under the God's protection against the Sins (lust, greed, pride, wrath, etc) were overcome by them due to the powers messing with their sanity and began massacring the ones who stood against the God. Of course, this is what actually happened and not what they tell you. The story was rewritten as the God explaining to them before disappearing that they must keep it's powers pure and to cleanse the world of the non believers to be able to rise once again and bring happiness to the world as it did before. Today, those born without the ability to use magic are killed directly at birth.
Combat tactics
- Sending out the weaker members out first, essentially as cannon fodder, with the capabiity to be suicide bombers should it be needed
-In the back lines, more powerful magic users are used essentially as artillery
-The extreme lower end of magic users are used exclusively as suicide bombers
Although very reckless, the suicide bombers are extremely devastating
-They do not produce many infantry units as they are very costful, so not many will be deployed on the battlefield at once
-A large "mothership" launches capsules going at 25%-40% lightspeed that are piloted by a Kamikaze Pilot that has twice the normal charge and will explode on impact with the ground
Society and Ethics
Their society is split up in several classes, lower class, middle class, upper class and The 12 Rulers. None of these classes are aware of the other's existence aside from The 12 Rulers as they are the ones that control everything from behind the curtain. All classes strongly believe in the religion of The 12. Magic is sacred to them and dying to it is the highest honor one can achieve in death. In contrast, being killed by an old, rusted weapon is the most humiliating way a Thral'Koh can die. Additionally, all Thral'Koh on the battlefield have a pill in the back of their mouths that detonates their very being, causing them to spontaenously combust and explode. This is used only moments before death is absolutely certain. Suicide Bombers have a higher concentration of this pill causing the explosion to be far greater than that of a middle- and upper class. They see those that are incapable of practicing magic as "impure" due to having no connection to their God in their eyes and see them as lower lifeforms.
Economy
They so far have no connections to other nations due to their xenophobia towards non-magic users.
