The flowing waves, the blue sky, the calm noises of sea birds echoing with their cries. The smell of salt water pleasing the nose. The beautiful island, rolling hills of green and life, clean beaches that allow life to enjoy. A small costal town, a small harbor along with it, a few small fishing trawlers docked upon it. The fishing trawler began to sail back towards the land, to dock at the quiet sea side town. The sprawling land of the large island going as far as the eye could see down the beach the large cliffs over looking the sea. Life seemed peaceful, but only upon the waters of this area...

The blue and green, mostly island and ocean world orbited its star, with each rotation around it, a strange asteroid approaching and crashing into the sea upon one side of the sprawling environment. The planet of Tal-par. A simple large sea world with small continents and mostly thousands of islands to cover the land. Located within the galactic R-3 Quadrant, the mixed life of humanoids upon this world of a mix of species seemed to somewhat thrive, at least in the peaceful waters of the small nation of Austora.

The dead peaceful silence of the island, only the calming noise of the wind and seas and the small amount of life in the area, quiet chattering interrupted by what sounding like a loud song being blared that echoed across the sea at the island. Eyes look towards it as the horizon seemed to become steel, warships sat upon it, large caliber guns aimed. And with the first beat drop, explosions began to rang. Every rift of the guitar followed by explosions' s large shells slammed into the water sending waves, throwing small fishing trawlers into the air with the large explosions. Impacting upon the land as craters rip into the terrain. For the duration of the song shells flew of all sizes from light caliber to heavy as the town was blasted apart along with the surrounding area.

The deathly silence returning, but even quieter as the steel horizon became closer towards the land. A flotilla of ships with a battleship in the center of the fleet, and a number of destroyers around it, and four large cargo like ships, but with a deathly aura of suffering around them. Slavers... A force of many ships that prow to loot and raid the shores of others to feed back to a war machine. They approach the shores looking for a fresh crop.

The stars streak white as the ship blasts through hyperspace, the void zipping past them in black and white lines stretching to the end of the 'horizon' with the ship on approach to this strange world, speculated to have native life. The ship is a Rampart-Class Assault ship escorted by a single Kyris-class. The Rampart, named 'Skybreaker', is loaded with troops and vehicles. Onboard is also a last resort... one of the huge SEMAV units bought from Galactic Lihr and Mertz by the Dominion. This SEMAV, nicknamed 'Linda' by the crew, is the first one to see service. The shipboard AI, "Bastion", blares out across the intercoms

"All Crew, please prepare for exit into realspace in T-minus 12 seconds.
"Twelve, Eleven, Ten, Nine, Eight, Seven, Six, Five, Four-"

Crew scramble to take seats and lock up their equipment as the ships rapidly approach the system that the planet resides in
"...Three, Two, One-"

The Two ships reach the end of their hyperspace jump-
"Exiting Hyperspace, please brace."
And with a shudder the ships exit hyperspace, taking in the sights of the planet and its crystalline oceans.

Captain J. Harlan:
"Sihkz, status report."

First Leiutenant T. Sihkz:
"Jump successful sir, all systems green and the designated arrival point is in sight."

Harlan:
"Good. Bastion, initiate a radar scan upon the closest continent and plot a course to an empty landing zone."

Bastion:
"It will be done."

The ships radars go alive as they begin pinging the closest continent to them and search for an uninhabited zone to land while the two vessels begin approaching the planet, growing ever closer to the edge of it's exosphere...

The roar of jet engines fills the dead silence, the ear bleeding noise of power that was the motors of propellent, flying through the air as a number of missiles slam down upon the fleet, explosions ripping into the side of a number of destroyers. The direction the strike came from was a small csg. Lead by a small carrier as the flagship.

A number of planes streaked off its deck as their engines roared to life. A boom and zoom as it can be described as they quickly moved to strike the slaver force. The carrier was protected by three frigates, a submarine, and two destroyers. Torpedo's streaked into the water as they were launched towards the slaver battleship flagship. Explosion's ripping across the water when the found their mark. A small fleet of six helicopters streaming to the cargo ships along with a number of small deployed boats dropped down from the carrier and other warships. The main guns upon the escort opening up along with another missile salvo as they strike down the enemy warships. The boom of the battleships guns as large explosions rip into the water near one of the frigates, the round flying lucky as the center of the small ship explodes and is blasted in half.

A number of islands cover the vast seas, dotting across as far as the eyes can see, One near island was void of life except for some native, though an old facility seemed to cover it, a cove with a number of falling apart facilities and piers. A large metal door large enough for entire warships of the seas to pass through was locked upon the side of one of the cove arms. A rusted construction zone, and a number of empty plots that could be rebuilt or built upon, with two large darks one seemingly to be a shipyard and the other to be holding the hull of a large half built vessel

The pair of ships take to this nearly void of life island, covered in ruins of old. The huge assault ship lands on the very edge of the island, avoiding the ruins as it begins to let down it's cargo ramp, meanwhile the Kyris class stays overhead, trying to get a more clear picture of the area.

Bastion:
"Landfall complete and ramp going down. Sending of Scouts before main troop complement Strongly Advised"
The Captain, taking the AI's advice, has a trio of Gecko-ATVs, armed with a single machinegun mounted onto the front of the vehicle, rush out and scout as much of the island as they can..

Another salvo flies from the battleship as the waters explode around. Missiles firing off from launch tubes mounted upon it, an anti ship missile slamming into the bow of one frigate detonating its main gun ammunition and causing the bow to be blown off. The long sounds of alarms and BRRRRRRRRRR as ciwis systems attempt to intercept incoming missiles as one slams into the side of a destroyer and blows a chunk out of its center mass and funnel. Fire pouring from the center of the ship. One shell from the battleships main gun slams into the carriers deck, just missing the main flgiht deck and hitting the angled section with the explosion blowing up and downwards into the water. Two mutli role strike fighters take off the deck as they fly outward and begin an attack onto the battleship landing four anti ship missiles upon the battleship and dropping a dozen bombs that explode across its deck and down the ships spine. Exploding apart as plumes of smoke leave most of the slaver ships except for the large cargo ships that the helicopters began to orbit and touchdown on, the noise of gunfire erupting as they make their landings, the smaller deployed boats speeding across the water to join the boarding action as they blast holes into the hull in order to swarm into the cargo hull. The hours ticked by as the gunfire died down, four large cargo helicopters with double rotors, one in the front and one in the bottom began approach upon the two slaver ships, two for each as they touchdown on the large deck and people can be seen being loaded into it. The fire upon the carrier died down as the helicopters approached to land upon it ounce more and unload the troops and saved 'cargo'.

One ruin was a large intelligence sight upon the top of an incline, probably only accessible from helicopter or aircraft. Another was a large research facility and a large factory across some roads. A runway and hanger along with another factory were located on the other side, with some stairs leading down to docks and the large shipyard that held the massive hull. While across to the center of the bay was the smaller shipyard. A large empty resource field that had a large hole that mines were dug into. A silo was located on the same arm as the massive locked doors that were half in the water, it was connected to a smaller base that seemed to expand underground into another factory. A large radar facility was set up upon one edge of the island that overlooked the sea. A munition plant between one factory and the research center and a depot on the other side of the research center.

Upon the island they found the wrecks of vehicles from a fought battle, battledamage upon the large concrete construct that made up most the island, like a massive bunker. A number of roads and a large door that lead deeper in along with the large hq building upon the top that crowned the base. Old sam launchers, destroyed buildings, some skeletons covered in the growth of plants. The island lied quiet for years.

The force of vessels steamed from the vessel back to the large landmass, entering a bay that say quiet upon a corner. Two watchtowers overlooking the entrance as the ships sailed through a large shipyard had it door open as the carrier reversed into it for repairs. Four smaller dockyards dotted in a group on the shore were building aa cruiser, a destroyer and two other frigates. With another one in another corner of the base building a submarine. A number of missile defence sights marked around the base, with a large metallic door half in the water sitting on one side.
