(This post is quite rushed because of everyone waiting for the war so don’t mind the horrible pacing here.)
Election day:
The streets of Anrillia, Antaka, Petov and hundreds of other planets and stations were brimming with activity. People lined up by the voting halls. People at home signed into the government website to cast their vote. The software protection AI were running at full power making sure no fraud occurred. The politicians took this moment to campaign. Some were seen walking down the streets and making speeches in critical areas. The counting of votes had begun, and so far it lined up with the polls. Large mobs formed on the street, projecting holograms saying things like “Empacrats 4117: Justice. Prosperity. Equality” and “Power to Akhstafa, power to the people”. The Union Jack was raised all over the empire. Arguments started opening in discussion sections of social media. Industrial and colonial areas were clearly dominated by prosperat voters, while empacrats were popular in large population centers and military oriented worlds.

Three weeks later the results have come in.
Galactic Empacratic Party, Kayelin Astra: 31%
Inner Prosperity Party, Akhstafa Khactro’ch: 27%
Social Democrats, Burnius Everin 18%
Party For Peace And Prosperity, Darrin Contran: 10%
Multiculturalist Front, Traxian Gordon: 7%
Liberation Party, Sandicate Darshing: 5%
Other: 2%
The empacratic party had emerged victorious. Kayelin has been re-elected as high minister. As the negotiations begin the empacratic party agreed to delay generation VI warships in the empacratic military plans in order to create a majority government with the social Democratic Party with similar interests. The prosperats were unable to persuade the multiculturalists to create a directorate with them mainly because of their refugee policies. The multiculturalist front joins the empacratic block creating a majority government and allowing for them to form a directorate.
Kayelin swore the oath for the fourth and final time in her life. Her speech was broadcasted over the entire nation, and over the galaxy if anyone was to have interest.
”I truly believe Lokion’s will has once again persisted. I want to thank the British people, wether you voted for my party or not, for contributing to our democracy. I will use all my power to bring justice to what I promised. To the galaxy as was intended. Now let us stand united. Let us not divide because of politics. Let us reach out our hand to lift up your fallen comrades. Look around you. That man is your brother. That citizen over there is your sister. There is a moment where we all realize this. Then and only then will the galaxy be just…”
The demilitarization is the first thing to come up in parliament after Kayelin is sworn in. With no major party suggesting continuation of current large scale military development, the empacratic demilitarization plan is passed, though less significant than the prosperats suggestion.
