Brank The ID Ships continue their full burn, getting ever closer to the station. Shells and missiles slam into the ID position, mostly stopped by APS and Shields, though some get through, tearing through the weak armour and forcing bulkheads to be shut in an attempt to protect the crew and the atmosphere of the ship, one of the cruiser's main guns are ripped to shreds, the railgun offline as the rest continue firing at the UNSC fleet, dropship beginning to launch from the hangar as they head towards the station, their door guns prepared to fire on any UNSC military personnel as they 5 dropship approach the station, covered by a wing of Syntax Drones.
The Gladiator loses its main Mk15 breakwater turret as a round slams into the side of it, causing it to tumble off into space. The turrets connecting port is sealed to avoid more collateral damage. The cruiser continues to lay down heavy fire with its MAC gun and missiles.
One of the Stridents power shudders as it is hit with continuous fire, it springs back to life and continues firing everything it has. The frigate is bombarded with heavy fire and shudders once more before going dark. Dead in the water, and leaking fuel. On sections of the hull, small puffs can be seen as escape craft are launched with the remaining crew.
The remaining Stridents continue to harass the enemy with sustained missile fire.
On the station, warning slammed Blair in the remaining civilians arm themselves with what they can in the main hangar. They quickly topple empty cargo containers, boxes, and crates to create a makeshift barricade in the station. With the Cole Protocol enacted on all the ships in the area minus the Prowler, the data here was lost forever. The civilians are armed with only a handful of assault rifles, a shotgun, and 9mm pistols, their defences were underwhelming for the oncoming dropships.
The fast attack corvettes move closer to the station so they can intercept them with their PD fire, hoping to take down as many drones and dropships as they can.
