This is Vice Admiral Darus. We are from The Democratic Republic of Darvus (DRD). We are in favor of a respectful relationship between the factions. There will always be war, but these civilians shouldn't die in it. That's why I offer them to use my transporters to take the civilians to a planet or space station of their choice. We have deactivated our weapons as a sign of peace. We will not join the fight aggressively.

Brank Reinforcements arrive quicker than expected. On the other side of the junkyard, a cortet of Strident-Class Frigates, as well as a Gladiator-Class Light Cruiser, emerge out of Slipspace. The Gladiators hangar doors open and deploy a few escorting fighters with dropships in tow to evacuate the station. The small detachment sends an un-encrypted message to the ID fleet to stand down and surrender themselves and their ships, facing fair treatment or face total annihilation.

The prowler awaits a response from the ID fleet to see what their next move is.

We have three large transport ships. if you allow, we would send them to the station to evacuate the civilians as quickly as possible and take them to a safe place of their choosing.

A small group of DRD ships separates from the main fleet and heads for the station. They have their weapons disabled and stay out of enemy weapon range whenever possible. This consists of a frigate, three transport ships and 6 fighters.

The rest of the fleet remains on standby at the edge of the system.

Admiral_Curtis The stations hangars open for the oncoming dropship group to evacuate the civilian staff on the station. The fighters however, streak past the station in an elegant manor. Eventually they fly past the oncoming frigates and loop backward towards the station to patrol it. The frigates and the group they broke off from receive a transmission that UNSC dropships have touched down to pick up the civilian staff, as well as to watch their backs as they are escorted back to the light cruiser.

On the opposite side of the station, one of the corvettes can be seen turning back to pick up the civilians from the light cruiser to escort them back to a safer destination.

About 10 systems off is a wolfpack trio of destroyers, being composed of one Gynos-class Heavy destroyer and Two Usurper-class Destroyers. They are roughly 2 hours worth of hyperspace jumps away and then a half hour of flying to make it through the interdictor field. [EIGHT TURNS AWAY]

And then in an instant, the Ewar frigate throws radio jamming up and fires a volley of EMP missiles at the nearest fleet of UNSC ships, all the other ships launching volleys of missiles and railgun shells, point defense watching around in preparation for the UNSC missiles. The fleet makes a beeline for the station but does not fire on it, while hangars open in preparation to send troop transports to land on it. The small transporters bring the civilians to the large transporter. The associated frigate covers the transporters. Unfortunately, when the civilians are handed over, there is a lot of hustle and bustle, but the security forces manage to quarter everyone safely. In the transport rooms of the freighters it is quite cramped for the mass of people since the transporter was intended for goods. With the help of soldiers, however, simple camp beds and shelters could be erected.
The captain of the escort frigate orders the fastest route to the system edge. However, this turns out to be more difficult than expected, since the ships' sensors are always faulty. Luckily for the civilians, the Fragatte has upgraded sensors on board, which the transports and fighters have to aim for since their sensors are too weak.
Meanwhile, the main fleet prepares for battle to protect the transports...

The UNSC fleet sends a single open transmission. //Transmission-open-begin// ID Fleet you are attacking civillian targets. Go fuck yourself.

          //Transmission-open-ended//

As the volley of missiles and shells come at the UNSC fleet, point defences and interception missiles are launched. The cruiser, fires its MAC gun in retaliation, sending a trio of rounds targeting the larger of the ID ships. The frigates launch missiles.

The Strident-Class Frigate is struck by an ID shell, causing its shield to glow gold, sizzle, and fall. Another one of the impacts its front section, causing the frigate to careen off course and disabling its MAC gun.

A few of the EMP missiles manage to break through the missile UNSC defensve screen and when they impact on a few ships they send scorch marks along the impact sites.

            ONI

The MAC rounds fly true, a shield flying up to stop them but only getting two of the rounds, meanwhile the Third MAC shell strikes dead on the Light cruiser, tearing through armour as bulkheads shut off, preventing the atmosphere in the ship from stripping. One of the main railguns is now struck offline as well as vast swathes of point defense and secondary armaments, basically leaving the Starboard broadside of the ship unusable. In light of this the ship tries to orient itself to have its port broadside closer to the enemy, basically flipping on its head. Missiles are caught up in the Flak of the ID fleet, mostly being destroyed, though some make it through to strike small walls of plasma tossed out by the shield nodes across the ID fleet.

Meanwhile the weapons of the fleet begin to unleash proper weapons volleys at the UEG military ships, the Spinal railgun of the Cavaliere sending a shell directly for the lead ship of the UEG fleet as its railgun turrets and Coil-autocannons unleash as well, the crash of shells leaving the barrels and pop-pop-pop of railguns being heard through the cruiser's internals by the crew, while volleys of Anti-Ship Missiles begin to scream for the small corvettes below the fleet. A Volley of EMP torpedoes leave the EWAR ship towards the lead UEG vessel, moving directly for it as the ships increase their burn, dropships preparing to leave hangars for the station as the fleet gets closer...

Brank The shell hits the side of the cruiser, it’s point defence turrets failing to stop the round. The shield protecting the cruiser, which is the last layer of defence besides armour on the cruiser stops most of the kenetic energy before they are depleted. The round leaves a large hole in the side of the cruiser.

Decks are sealed off to contain damages and air.

The Stridents I’s return fire with a coordinated “rod dump” firing what they have at the enemy fleet.

The older corvettes do what they can to stave off the attack, they barley manage to knock out half the projectiles coming towards them. One of the corvettes is destroyed while the others damaged lightly or heavily.

With the older UNSC fleet in shambles, the station transmits a signal saying not all of the civilians had been evacuated in time. Some were destroying the astronavigations library and completely purging the stations data banks.

The Gladiator loses its main Mk15 breakwater turret as a round slams into the side of it, causing it to tumble off into space. The turrets connecting port is sealed to avoid more collateral damage. The cruiser continues to lay down heavy fire with its MAC gun and missiles.

One of the Stridents power shudders as it is hit with continuous fire, it springs back to life and continues firing everything it has. The frigate is bombarded with heavy fire and shudders once more before going dark. Dead in the water, and leaking fuel. On sections of the hull, small puffs can be seen as escape craft are launched with the remaining crew.

The remaining Stridents continue to harass the enemy with sustained missile fire.

On the station, warning slammed Blair in the remaining civilians arm themselves with what they can in the main hangar. They quickly topple empty cargo containers, boxes, and crates to create a makeshift barricade in the station. With the Cole Protocol enacted on all the ships in the area minus the Prowler, the data here was lost forever. The civilians are armed with only a handful of assault rifles, a shotgun, and 9mm pistols, their defences were underwhelming for the oncoming dropships.

The fast attack corvettes move closer to the station so they can intercept them with their PD fire, hoping to take down as many drones and dropships as they can.

The cruiser shudders as it is hit by a MAC volley, shearing off more guns and rendering another deck unusable, a fire being fought in the lower decks as the ship is patterned with fire, the CIWS guns on the ship sending out bright bursts of fire as the main guns keep firing towards the UNSC vessels.

The Dropships keep moving on, preparing to land in the station as the PD fire begins to hit against the formation, most of them tossing shields to defend, though the PD fire catches one of the dropships, catching it in a firey blaze of explosion, alongside a trio of drone fighters torn to shreds as well
