viscionite

This is a stable element with 54 protons / neutrons, and 51 electrons in it's shells.

viscionite
Is a dense substance with its density being
230 kilogrammes - 1m³

While dense it isn't a very malleable substance
Requiring heavy machinery to bend it,
And with around 300,000 psi for it's tension durability, might seem like a lot, but tungsten is in the 500,000's

viscionite has a melting point of 2240 °c

viscionite was first discovered by accident when a carbon mining team on Nervise couldn't drill through what seemed like a really hard rock,
So they did what any other mining team would do, and set off explosions, these weren't to effective and so the mining team drilled around it and had some geologists look at the " rock ".
These geologists including Alforic jouren
Found that is was a metal and not a rock.
They had a few mining teams dig up the boulder of metal and have it examined in a laboratory, with it's melting point too high for clay furnaces they had to design one out of pure tungsten, they had a small chunk of melted viscionite moves to a lab when it hardened, and named it after one of the overseers; Visconia of desire'

viscionite has a silver - black appearance where on its surface light gets trapped in total internal reflection, making the substance shimmer and shine, this is what also makes it great for absorbing impacts from light, although this does heat up the metal.

viscionite has a wide variety of uses,
From structural foundation from its " rock hard " strength, and low malleability or for jewelry, as it shines from the light temperarally trapped within it.
The substance is also a great conducter similar to copper, able to freely move electrons and heat being great for wires that don't bend, or for the high melting temperature , large scale energy weapons, as other conducters like gold would melt at the high temperatures produced from the weapons.

More uses to be discovered as the metal is further examined and explored.

VathVS So is Viscionite Mangan or Chrome? You shouldnt use new elements, but rather mixtures of existing ones, because all elements are either named or radioactive/unstable

Hannizio i know, although just mixing 2 metals together isn't as enjoyable as just making an entirely new one.
it also gives you more creative freedom to customize it

VathVS Well, yeah, but you don't have any creative freedom in this case, because we already know all elements that aren't radioactive, and isotopes wont change much on a bigger scale, so having it be some other materials would be a better choice

there could always be elements outside of our relative knowledge that could be stable

VathVS Yeah, but by definition, we already know all elements with 118 protons or less. If your element has 54 protons and neutrons, its an element we know or an isotope of it, so it would still be an element we know already and have similar/the same way of working

ZendikaroftheWest It says protons, not anti protons. Also, if he wants to keep the story, he would have to be a species made out of antimatter in an anti matter universe.

Is a Naturally forming substance, and is a variation of hascolnium,
hascolnium is a light soluble material commonly located near volcanic activity on Hectaran.

haselecticosonite is created through tremendous pressure and heat deep in Hectaran, while it is known as " the ice planet ", it does have volcanos and a high internal temperature.

haselecticosonite is an unstable element, that needs carbon to become stable and to be used.

On it's own it is a very malleable substance, with a low tensile strength, but when used with Carbon it stiffens and it's malleability drops. This allows for its main purpose of being a structural metal, used in land structures like the foundation of Gek tower
Or in ships for it's stability and strength, an example of this would be the Cruisers which utilise it to hold the ship together.

haseleticosonite has a melting point of 740° c, which allows for the cheap manufacturing of parts for ships.

haseleticosonite was discovered by Gauren explorer Sir Zserv'ache Slifer when he had accidentally mixed carbon with hascolnium
The metal became stable and usable,
Zserv'ache Slifer then made a large quantity of wealth selling the stuff to TC, until he ran out and was hired by Vath to locate more.
haseleticosonite before it had this name, was named " Zserv'ache Metal ", but was instead renamed by Vath to haseleticosonite to make it's name more bearable. The name is derived from a combination of hascolnium, the original material, and cosoveer an ancient overseer.

haseleticosonite has the appearance of an earthy green, rough metallic substance.
With black veins running throughout it's surface and within.
When refined it takes on more of an orange shade of colour as it's "impurities" are removed for use.

haseleticosonite isn't without uses either, from ship, structure and weaponry uses, it is quite a versatile material.
From being a projectile in a railgun, holding up skyscrapers or being the internal structure of a cruiser. It is highly sought after for vehicles and space craft, for military and commercial use.

The largest downside to the substance is that Ionic weaponry is effective against it, with ions being easily able to punch through, melting it from within.
