Is a Naturally forming substance, and is a variation of hascolnium,
hascolnium is a light soluble material commonly located near volcanic activity on Hectaran.
haselecticosonite is created through tremendous pressure and heat deep in Hectaran, while it is known as " the ice planet ", it does have volcanos and a high internal temperature.
haselecticosonite is an unstable element, that needs carbon to become stable and to be used.
On it's own it is a very malleable substance, with a low tensile strength, but when used with Carbon it stiffens and it's malleability drops. This allows for its main purpose of being a structural metal, used in land structures like the foundation of Gek tower
Or in ships for it's stability and strength, an example of this would be the Cruisers which utilise it to hold the ship together.
haseleticosonite has a melting point of 740° c, which allows for the cheap manufacturing of parts for ships.
haseleticosonite was discovered by Gauren explorer Sir Zserv'ache Slifer when he had accidentally mixed carbon with hascolnium
The metal became stable and usable,
Zserv'ache Slifer then made a large quantity of wealth selling the stuff to TC, until he ran out and was hired by Vath to locate more.
haseleticosonite before it had this name, was named " Zserv'ache Metal ", but was instead renamed by Vath to haseleticosonite to make it's name more bearable. The name is derived from a combination of hascolnium, the original material, and cosoveer an ancient overseer.
haseleticosonite has the appearance of an earthy green, rough metallic substance.
With black veins running throughout it's surface and within.
When refined it takes on more of an orange shade of colour as it's "impurities" are removed for use.
haseleticosonite isn't without uses either, from ship, structure and weaponry uses, it is quite a versatile material.
From being a projectile in a railgun, holding up skyscrapers or being the internal structure of a cruiser. It is highly sought after for vehicles and space craft, for military and commercial use.
The largest downside to the substance is that Ionic weaponry is effective against it, with ions being easily able to punch through, melting it from within.
