Ever wanted a ship that's so broken it takes advantage of every mechanic, has almost every weapon and is unbelievably defensible?
Good news, I think I've done it.
Hold up lemme back up that claim
So it doesn't use cannons, which are arguably more powerful than dual lasers, but apart from that I think its one of the most powerful ships possible to build imo. I tried to optimise reload times and defensibility to create an absolutely broken experience, and I think I did well.
Of course, because of gargantuan ship size limits, you could suggest the best ship is always going to be the biggest one, this makes sense but because of weapon ranges there is a point where adding more guns simply isn't helpful anymore. There is a maximum number of guns you can have in range of a single ship, and to add more beyond that point is kind of pointless. Hence, "best" ship.
And now, without further adieu,
I call it the "Chocolate Block"
