Today marks the completion of the Yyn War Group, the first official and fully operational Kakyyn battlefleet. It was completed roughly four months after the Irri trailblazers left Sanrah Star's orbital space and continued their journey. This achievement also places into action one of the agreements made between the Irri and the Kakyyn. The mutual defense will from now on be fully enforced by the Yyn Authority and any violations of Irri vessels from various non-war threats will not be tolerated.
The construction of the fleet itself was also an amazing acomplishment for the Kakyyn themselfs. The few shipyards quickly managed to adapt to the new changes in starship design and started the assembly immediately after all materials and various tools for the manufacturing were delivered. Although only fifteen, 180 meter warships were produced, they are outfitted with the latest Kakyyn technologies, such as detection systems, point defense, armor and anti-matter technology, which includes weaponry and transporation.
Anti-matter technology is currently one of the main interests of the Yyn authority, It holds great power and allows for superior power generation, powerful transportation, aswell as devastating weaponry. It is, however the most dangerous kind of matter to currently be available and is immensely expensive to produce. To counteract this, the Kakyyn have built several storage facilities and started operating several "Bussard Ramjet" Freighters which create anti-matter and other propellant on the fly as they venture through deep space. The storage facilites, (and smaller storages) make use of extensive electromagnetic fields to contain the anti-matter and prevent it from reacting with the environment.
