In general, at this point in time no ship of the HDC has any kind of energy weapons or shields.
1st Ship: The Breaker class Frigate The Breaker Frigate has a heavy hull with a big multifunctional armored railgun in it. The railgun is able to shoot a variety of projectiles. from a solid Uranium 238 projectile to penetrate the heaviest armor. Another possible way to equip it is a small thermonuclear warhead in a bullet that keeps stuck inside a ship before exploding. Sadly the Warhead costs so much money that the HDC rarely uses it . Besides the railgun, the most dominant weapons are the side cannons. The 8 big ones have a diameter of 2 meters and fire high velocity projectile with an explosive core that can damage a ship after penetrating the armor, but wont go trough too heavy armor and fire slowly. The 8 smaller guns with a diameter of 1,1 meters fire faster with HE rounds that are deadly against light armored ships. All cannons have their factories directly in their heavy armored turrets. They also have 24 Point Defense maschineguns capable of destroying slow projectiles or missiles and fighters after a while. Later versions also are also equipped with 4 rocket launchers, that can fire 12 rockets each. to reload they have to retract into the hull. Hannizio The biggest HDC warship is the Spear class dreadnought. It has a big railgun as main weapon together with 2 quadruple cannons at the side of it. At its "wings" it has dozens of rocket pods, shooting multiple rockets each, but they have a long reload time. under the rockets, there are big hangar bays, that can be covered by big doors if needed. It has 2 points at the back where bigger capital ships can dock. It can be very fast for a ship of its size, but it only turns very slowly.
