The being, of course, spots the large piece of rock that approaches it, and as effortly as it has done so these last few times, it aligns itself down its central axis and conducts a nigh-undodgeable attack, blowing off the surface layer of the rubble and sending it flying the other way. At the same time that this happens, Kuzwo’s shot of golden energy, though unorganized it is, hits the being’s exterior “shield”, lighting up once again a complex shell of runes and geometric artifacts.
This splits the attention of the seemingly all-seeing construct for a split second. It rotates again and aligns directly facing Kuzwo, this time, you know it sees you, and it performs the same ritual it did against Raasha, the hoops click into place and you feel a kind of drain, as if it was just starting to seep something from you. You see your life flash before your eyes, if not followed soonly after by Raasha, quickly leaving the plume of debris and smoke, piercing the tender outer magical shell of inscriptions and knowledge of the construct and delivering a fatal blow to the core of the construct.
The being falters and its rings try to rotate for the blow to compensate, the starry core shatters slightly as it hits against the innermost ring, the ritual is disrupted and instead projected outwards like a thin luminescent beam out towards the front, it spirals crazily carving a hundred small holes all through the crust of the surface they were fighting on.
The core shatters and its shards fly outwards with violence, stopping mid-air, it sucks everything up within a radius and explodes again in a cross-like shape emanating four beams of white light outwards, leaving a perfectly carved semi sphere on the ground.
Dumb
There seems to be a certain attrition in the transmission of this kind of knowledge, as if the knowledge itself both wanted to be known, and reserved from those that didn't seek it actively. Yang tried to perform the same ritual, however, the effects were much lesser, the resistance was much greater and the impression of a kind of "pressure" came more as a rigidity, as if he tried to brute force a process that took place with elegance, facing a much greater lever action of the system itself.
However, the effect was the exact contrary for Yin. As he tried to approach Kuzwo and formed the circular pattern, he realized that it formed with greater ease, almost like the same clockwork from beforehand was lubricated and now moved much more swiftly.
However, before he could use it...
There was an eerie silence after the destruction of the construct, a kind of peace only backed by the quiet sounds that the kind of mystical globe seemed to project on the bizarre location they were inside. Then, a loud screech cut the silence of the short combat. It was not the being in the center, but rather, the very behind of where they started at. A large chunk of the planet that surfed on the edge of the bubble broke in half and engulfed itself into the golden edge, it was consumed in a second in a thunderous screech. It was not vaporised or disintegrated, it was simply gone, completely gone.
More than anyone else, the being in the center seemed to take notice of this. Judging that time was in short supply, it beckoned those present, extending its arms outwards it drew in thin air casting multilayered complexes of geometries and runes, and soon, the celestial sphere answered and moved in accordance.
The whole world shifted from under their feet, as if they moved without the act of movement itself, and they snapped into place atop the three facing the being. It was gigantic for a single being, no shorter than 3 stories tall, it perched itself up with four octopus-like tentacles. On close inspection, it didn't seem to be made out of flesh, but rather, some kind of stone not too dissimilar to the construct's, etched in every inch of it with faded inscriptions.
It... didn't react, only stared down at those in front of it, waiting.
