The alien invaders started a massive attack at one of the outposts of the HDC. The small fleet called "Quaerite" was stationed. During the last weeks, the attacks of the aliens became harder and harder. The front was moving for the first time since months, and not in our favor. The Quaerite, under the flagship of the "HDC Firestorm", one of the most modern ship in the HDC navy. Next to it, there were only a few dozens of older ships, mainly Destroyers. Their mission would have been to break out of the small restricted part of the galaxy and find allies in the main, far bigger part of the galaxy. They were waiting for their communication vessel, when the aliens attacked. The attack catched them of guard, and they had to flee into hyperspace. Now they are on their way into the larger galaxy. The way there is hard, asteroids can kill any ship that is too large and will damage even smaller vessels, even if they would have shields. The Quaerite fleet arrived at their destination. The vision is limited by some weird kind of fog, made out of tiny pieces of dust . For all of the crew member, its the first time outside of their territory. They know how to fight their enemies, but they have never seen other tactics than the ones of the aliens. Its a whole new world for them. But now they have to search for new allies. The flagship tests all its communication systems and build up contact to the rest of the fleet. Its even after the attack quite strong, with 10 small destroyers, 4 bigger ones, 6 frigates and 7 cruisers, 2 of them with missiles, 5 with cannons and flak. All vessels have short range communication systems and can be controlled to a certain degree by the flagship. Many of the crew members still have to think over what just happened. Suddenly someone on the bridge screamed: The sensors show multiple unknown ships.
