she lets out a pained chuckle
"Even if you learn to cope, these memories.. they stick with you forever..."

she reaches into her pocket and pulls out a pair of Dogtags

She lets out a small sigh and returns the dogtags to her hoodie pocket.
"Anyways. We trained from the age of ten until we were.. what, twenty? Eugh, doesnt matter. We fought the innies for some time, then we got our armour. Mjolnir, best of the best we had ever seen at the time. For a while we kept wiping out insurrectionist cells. Then... the Covenant came..."

"Oh! Yes!" she said cheerfully, "I do have herbal tea on the ship and I suppose some liquor but I don't really drink, especially in any type of formal interview."

Natalie stands up and stretches a bit
"You want me to grab you a cup of that Tea you were talking of?"

"Oh I'll get it. I don't mind if you had a drink. What would you like? I don't really know but I'd assume it's fine Giathian or unique Idien liquors."

Natalie slightly smiles and sits back down, though this time she looks at arra instead of staring off into the distance.

Arra comes back after a while holding two bottles of liquor and a kettle with a small floating plate with a cup and a glass firmly standing on it She smiles and says ”Watch this.” She threw one of the bottles into the air. Tiny thrusters at the bottom stabilized its spin before decelerating its fall so it gracefully hovered between Arra and Nat. She placed the other bottle in the air next to it. The plate with the cup and glass hovered towards Nat.
”Technology is wonderful. If only it was used to help people more than to hurt people.”

Nat just grabs the bottle, opens it, and takes a big drink.
"mmm, good stuff. Thanks."
Natalie lets out a sigh
"Been a long time since i've had a drink. Last one i had was just before the UEG found me and picked me up."
She turns around and looks at the dormant mass driver.
"This place.. Is exactly how i remember it looking. The dust everywhere, the mass driver.. That's where Emile died. One of my Fireteam members. My family..."

As she grabs the bottle Arra lifts her hand to point something out but decides to not bother. Her kettle pours hot tea into her cup. As Nat tells her about the mass driver she just stares at it, remaining silent.
