I've never built anything with the bigger ships mod ("gasp!"), so my biggest ship looks like this:
The Citadel Superdreadnought. This ship was built with durability as the number one priority, so while the shields and guns don't reload as fast as they could, the main batteries can take a tremendous amount of punishment without going up like a string of firecrackers.
Periapsis you should make a post on the entire python faction. I think that would be cool. YOu don't have to go all out like my Mikrelian Navy Faction, but you can if you want.

CirnotheNineball I have a faction thread that will be updated soon (With the ship that I have posted here)). I just need to do a write up.
I also might start a second thread, with 'upgraded' (Modded) designs.
But for now, here's an incomplete mess, the ERN Celestia, a modded flagship design that got too ambitious.
I'm not going to name the mods, as this is an abandoned design. It obliterated everything, no exceptions.
I will eventually work on a vanilla version.
Solarwatch I might make a post about it. I have already made quite a lot of ships in the python faction. I'll probably post once I feel satisfied with the amount of ships or I get bored of the faction (highly unlikely)
Solarwatch I was also thinking of making factions for some programming languages. I might try to base the ship design on the functionality of the language. For example, C++ allows memory manipulation. So I might have a lot of storage cells. Python has a lot of weapons like a python in real life has deadly venom. They could be a mix between real world elements and the programming language.
