I know this is kinda premature but assuming that at some point you may want to go steam or even just do some internal achievements like Factorio i made a list of possible suggestions.

Press Start To Play- Load the game for the first time
I make my own road- Start a bounty hunter campaign
Billionares Playground- Start a creative
Screw built-in models- Change the ship before your first battle
Put Put- Kill an enemy ship
Bang Bang- Kill 10 enemy ships
Yippey Kai Yay-Kill 100 enemy ships
Killimanjaro- Kill 1000 ships
I can Sci-fi!!!- Use the FTL once
Warper- Visit 10 systems
Never tell me the odds- Win a battle with less than 30% ship health remaining
Pre-emptive strike- Kill an enemy before entering Cannon range
Flagship- own a ship costing more than $1,000,000
Billionare- Total Campaign earnings of $1,000,000,000
Trillionare- All campaign earnings $1,000,000,000,000 (As in every campaign you played)
This will make a fine addition to my collection- Kill every built-in enemy ship
Tea for 2- Add another ship to your fleet
3's company- Have a fleet of three
The Fleet- Have a fleet of 10
FIRIN MA LAZAAA- Have 6 Ion beams all firing at the same time at the same target
The bigger they stand- Kill an elite class sector
The harder they fall- Kill one of every sector
Experimentor- Download a mod
Testing- Play a mod
Fully armoured and operational battle station- Have a ship with every weapon

Anyway, these are just some ideas, so the names may be bad

TheNuclearGamer A little bit much on the starting achievements as the first 5 can be achieved immediately and at that point i feel shitty cause im just getting handed free achievements.

Also achievemnets should get you stuff like maybe
5k more starting money in bounty hunter
1 extra enemy in your starting system
Unlock a 'hard' mode and creative mode when you earn X achievement(s)
earnings each achievement in that game such as 1k for Put Put and 5k for Warper (keep them small tho)

Humorous Achievement Renames

Achievements suggested by TheNuclearGamer but i wanted to just rename them
Press Start To Play - NASA 2.0
Billionares Playgorund - SpaceX 2.0
Screw Built in Models - Walt These Suck!

Other Achievement Ideas

Double Trouble - Fight 2 ships at once
Bullied - fight all ships in a single system at once
Man down! - Lose a ship (could literally be any game/movie reference)
Ew Don't Touch Me - touch another ship with your own
The Metal Cutter - split a enemy ship in half while both halves are still functional
All Hell - have 100 projectiles en route at a single time
GET REKT - destroy an enemy ship in less than 10 seconds
GOT REKT- lose half of your ship in the first 20 seconds of battle
Newb - lose in the starting system
Flawless - kill an enemy before it fires a single shot
Firefighter - put out 1000 fires

If achievements are implemented I would LOVE some humorous achievements cause we all know that no matter how great that mega-super-hard-to-get-achievement, its the funny ones that we really love. (ie -NEWB, Ew Don't Touch Me, GET and GOT REKT)
