Yare's mods

My 355th post, yet my first discussion.

Anyway, Yare's mods are as follows:
Yare's Reactors
Yare's Engine Rooms
Yare's Thrusters
Yare's Shields
Vantablack Accessibility mod

These mods are very much a WIP (as of posting this), and could be very OP or has bugs that i haven't caught on while testing.

Do note to expect lag for the higher-tier engine room parts since those consume quite a bit of GPU resources and the higher-tier reactor parts also lag out the game in sufficient quantity due to the high values being processed by the game.

Yare's Reactors:

Yare's reactors give the ability to automate your ship. These reactors can automatically power parts around them.


Yare's Engine Rooms:

Yare's engine rooms are increasing tiers of engine rooms that provide exponentially increasing engine buff. it is also able to share power between engines and itself.
Note: Higher tiers also increase the power consumption of engines to ridiculous levels, so you normally have to use it with automated logistics because even crew might not be enough.

Yare's thrusters have thrusters that can change trail color (probably will be reworked soon)



Yare's Shields:

Yare's shields have shields that have features that (most) other shield mods lack:

The ability to aim shields and change their color:

The ability to offset shields so that they're more flush with each other:


The ability to change the shield from curved to straight (and vice versa):

                ClassicJam my answer is:
                Since you don't need crew to power anything with this mod, I'd say it's very useful for minimizing or even almost eliminating crew entirely on ships.

                For the engine mod, it provides an engine buff such that it scales for larger ships, so that they can use less thrusters. This was my main intention with the engine room mod when making it.
