Single Fire Missile

what I want to do is have one missile pre assembled on an exterior rack that is launched with a control interface switch. You must have an intact control room to fire. The switch will launch all missiles if you have multiple missile racks, probably side mounted on port and starboard. The basic set up will be dumb fire missiles for the vanilla version that are impact triggered. click on the part icon and drag to your desired location, the missile is already assembled. Any help will be appreciated. Could I do it as a modified bullet Help help

Yes, basically one shot railgun emitter part. You only have to set it to be preloaded with StartingAmmo.
As for triggering look/use the explosive charge's button and use a buff as a control signal. That's all.

You might also look at the launchers in Kroom's Forge. They don't exactly fire on command, but they do something similar that the AI probably handles better if you want your missile rack to be usable by non-player ships.
