(These are all @Compilatron 's lads!)
Large black parallelepipedal monoliths transit above your head as you recall the feeling of a few seconds again: Nothingness. Heat. Cold. A sharp intrusive pain that aches throughout your whole body accumulating at the tips of your very being, slowly fading away as you seem to habituate yourself to the darkness of your cozy, tight and temporary prison.
Tsssssss……. Ctchunk
You flopped down gently onto a cushioned floor, hashly thrown into the world from your mechanical birthplace, a memory that only very few would be able to hold so precisely. At the first seconds, you accumulate into a small puddle that slowly reforms itself into the shape randomly assigned. Slowly opening your eyes and letting the light flood the ocular sensors for the first time in your life, you see it again: Large black parallelepipedal monoliths transit above your head on large rails, ferrying around others like you. Not the prettiest of sights on the backdrop of machinery noises.
A warm embrace picks your frail body up from the ground and carries it from the cushioned floor to somewhere else, you see the face of a middle-aged human woman, then a large wall overtake the room into another one, numbered 35-A. She lays you down upon a slightly cold bed with a large plastic-y paper surface over it which grapples slightly against you. For a few moments it is cold and feels funny on your back, but then, it feels fine.
“Initiating batch 523 evaluation, subject 30, no name designated as of yet.”
The woman says, before moving up to where you are sat down, by now, the confusion in your mind fades away like clouds parting to reveal a young and bright sun of dawn, a bright light overtakes your eyes projected from a small lantern of the woman, she places some electrodes over your body, grasps your right arm and lifts it up, giving you the first visage of your body: It is light green, made of some kind of transparent substance, almost see-through at some points, dense enough to not be transparent at the inner part of your arm, you clasp closed your hand, forming it into a small green ball with little strength in lethargic movements, only to be ripped from your own astonishment by a question:
“Do you feel anything?”
She says, her face serious, and eyes deadlocked into yours with her hands grasping your wrist and elbow, she presses the wrist, perhaps a bit too much, provoking a feeling of a small bit of a burning pain around the area, instinctively, you pull your arm back and your face contracts, your mouth produces an audible grunt of displeasure, showing the truth to the woman, which puts your arm down besides your body again.
For a few moments, she looks at you like one looks at a product in a production line, before sliding the bed forwards into a small cylinder which produces a varied measure of bizarre mechanical noises. As repentine as your awakening was, you fall asleep into a profound slumber.
After high pressure autoclave, the mold moves onto the injection area. A seeding mixture of green color is injected into the variable mold, naming this technique into “Variable Injection Molding”. Entropy takes over in the heat of the cooling of the Gel to produce varied facial and bodily features, whilst an automatic system regulates so that none of the produced offspring is physically defective, or born genderless.
After that, a simple sentient core matrix is injected into the Gel, this forms their neural system, provides them with a vast array of necessary bodily functions, provides sentience and the ability to make informed decisions, differing them from manufactured AIs. The exact composition or such programmable matrix is a company secret.
Then, a portion of the batch is extracted for analysis, if the batch is confirmed in quality, then it proceeds to the finalizing portions, where it is finally released into the world. Then, the molds are sent back into the factories, to a high pressure autoclave for cleaning.
The end product is a Gel person of varied green to blue appearance, semi-transparent body, equivalent height and visual of a 25 year old humanoid.
The current production order is of 1 billion units, to be incorporated into MISE society as a whole, and treated as normal citizens.
This production order will be carried out in five major factories located within the protection of the GL&M star cluster over the course of the following 5 months, with the concerns of housing, teaching, health, and jobs already being taken into account on a major geo-social plan.
The true backlash of the capacity of the MISE and GL&M to produce a large quantity of capable citizens will only be shown with time. However, deep inside the entrails of the large factories, secret assembly lines produce more units than the order seems to evoke, and behind the meters of concrete and steel that occult their mysterious sarcophagus, an even more mysterious purpose is laid within.
Together with the development of the Gel people, a new division is hastly created within the GL&M Megacorporation, the Gel Division!
Such a measure is done in much the same way as the Narcrusian Subsidiary was created, with the intent of slowly integrating and sorting all of the Gel people into the company.
Due to the study of the properties of the Gel substance, a quantity of technological achievements has allowed the MISE and GL&M’s advancement to be driven even further:
Gel Update Matrixes: A Corporate and Government secret in the MISE-GL&M endeavor, these injectable matrixes of a sparkly viscous liquid have to be administered to the nape of the neck of a Gel person. Over the next five hours, the liquid spreads through the body and effectuates a large measure of changes upon the Gel person. These changes can be mental, personal, or physical.
Homeostatic Gel Mixture: This non-sentient non-flammable Gel-based viscous liquid substance has homeostatic capabilities, quickly isolating physical injuries and helping in the treatment by serving as a capable anti-bacterial solution and providing stability to the affected zone. They are to be included in first-aid kits as a replacement to bandages, administered through a low-pressure dispensing device similar to a spray can. They can also be used as an internal coating on power armors or the insides of cockpits, allowing for greater safety for the pilot.
Integrated Gel Circuitry: The homeostatic properties of the Gel can be used to create a computer-user bridge through a physical bridging of the neural system of the user and specially designed circuitry. More research in the topic is currently underway.
