Many times over had the VWP expressed complete and total confidence in the Embassy's defensive network. Nevertheless, the visitors that would arrive today were of such prestige that a small escort was deemed necessary. A fleet of four corvettes, a pocket carrier, and, of course, a diplomatic vessel Switched into the system.
After going through the necessary checks and formalities, the vessel docked sternwise to the nearest station. The ship itself was roughly 120m in length, enough space for each of the four representative's quarters to be comparable to a small penthouse in size. The aforementioned representatives dismounted the craft, accompanied by a small battalion of security guards.
Raut K'aro was the current Patriarch of the fortress world Haltan, a famously militarist population center. It's governing system was martial to a T, to the point any challenger who climbed high enough in the ranks had the right to take his position if he was bested in a fair duel. The planet was home to many military industrial complexes, though its main export was millions of volunteer soldiers. The martial layout of the society leant itself well to raising high quality warriors from a young age, and military practices were idolized. It was indeed a moral dilemma, though surprisingly few people had strong reservations about it, so for now it persisted.
Fittingly of his position, Raut had a sculpturesque build, muscles visible even beneath his thick orange pelt. Unfittingly however, the hulking beast of a man was notoriously friendly, just as keen to have a drink with you as he would be to bash your face in, and not specifically in that order.
He walked through the halls with a confident strut to his step.
Gienaac Rolka was the Prime Minister of Chibute, a population center not decidedly planet or orbital based, but fell into a grey area between the two. Grey area actually fit Chibute quite well, as it frequently found itself sitting on the line of okay and not okay by VWP standards. Chibute was more or less ruled by its laissez-faire economic stance, local corporations locked in a constant economic war with each other. The rampant competitiveness left a grand majority of the population in relative poverty, where feuds, gang warfare and mafias flourished. The only saving grace about the whole arrangement, yet still a considerable one, was that the place churned out new technologies at a rate other centers couldn't hope to reach let alone match. This left the VWP Federal Council in a tricky situation that required almost constant juggling.
Gienaac herself was mostly pre-occupied with asserting her dominance over her conflict ridden home. She made certain to keep the CEOs and ringleaders alike aware of who really controlled Chibute, and wasn't afraid to call in the military to do so. She was a cold woman, with a slim build and a glare that could freeze anyone where they stood. She often didn't care much for socializing, and seemed to view people in a binary way: if you were causing trouble for her then you needed to be knocked down a peg, and if you weren't then you might later.
She walked barely concerned with those around her, attention fixed on a holographic display projected before her eyes that seemed to shift around at its own volition.

Iv'ieu was not the leader of his home, which while more understandable than the apparent norm, was still notable. Instead he was but a humble diplomat from Itteri'cra, home to the avian Irri people. The Irri had had a rather rough introduction to the galaxy, almost instantly being invaded the moment they stepped on stage. The VWP had stepped in to try relieve the damages, and eventually the Blessed Nation had joined the federation. Being a homeworld, Itteri'cra was a lot more evenly distributed in its faculties, and was slowly receiving the benefits of its federation status. A guilty interest the VWP had taken in the planet was its floating islands, apparently composed of just enough negative mass to remain at more or less constant altitudes. No extreme or invasive investigations had taken place yet, scientists had their work cut out for them just investigating the hypotheticals.
Iv'ieu had actually taken an active role in the ill-fated first contact scenario, and was a xenobiologist investigating the anatomy of an alien Kel'Shir pilot. Unfortunately time had taken its toll on the man, and he was now nowhere near as spry. Nevertheless, he continued to do his duty, and was once more leading the Irri people onto the galactic stage.
He was thankfully able to keep pace with his quadruped allies, and looked around with fascination.
There was one more representative, or at least, it was assumed that was what they were. Apparently they couldn't physically make it to the meeting, and instead remotely operated an android with Vaiaelon proportions and stature. The android clearly prioritized function over form, servos and hydraulics and whatnot clearly visible within its frame. The head was mostly made of a smooth piece of opaque black glass, with two articulated antennae "ears" protruding from the back.
There was an air of definite mystery around the 'droid. It lagged a bit behind the rest of the group, and if you looked away from it the memory would quickly start to fade.
Kotaii, the illusive VWP diplomat who was already stationed at the Embassy, came up to personally greet them. Many kind words and photogenic interactions were exchanged (including the incident of Raut pulling the unfortunate politician into a visibly uncomfortable bear hug, shortly followed by an audible crack), before the group descended down to the Embassy proper, and made their way to the Senate.
