An unofficial "faction" of slimepeople.
Not too long ago, several breakthroughs amongst an unnamed backwater station lead to the development of commercially viable slimegirls. They were largely treated as a gimmick, and soon the technology was all but forgotten about in favour of many other genetically modified slaves, pets or otherwise.
This lead to a collective of slimepeople forming, all of them abandoned or lost from their original masters.
Slimepeople are an artificial race, modified for their masters needs, including their appearance, personality and skills. The collective varies widely, from once-loved slimeperson wives, maids, engineers, scientists, assistants or whatever else was needed. One trend however is that most of them are female.
Despite not being an official faction, most of these slimes have started making small communities in backwater places, ranging from groups of a dozen to a few hundred individuals in an area.
Curiously, in spite of the vast distances between these communities, all slimes share a common "slime" language, made up of various tones and sounds, some of which are beyond the range of human hearing. They will, of course, also speak their local language.
Slimeperson biology is poorly understood, but most of what applies to carbon based creatures applies to them as well.
There are some exceptions however. Being a liquid, they are badly hurt by cold temperatures, as their body freezes over. However, they are fairly resistant to heat, and do not burn.
Slimepeople's most unique property however is their interaction with toxins. Anti-toxn medication will badly hurt slimepeople, wearas toxic substances will heal them.

Try locating a city, likely within your own faction's borders! There will often be a handful hiding somewhere in the back alleys.
