Thompson would pilot his craft with an air of expertise to his action. as he went in for landing he made a connection to the air traffic control tower. "Spiffing day tower, this is Aspen-05 requesting landing on runway, approach angle is 34 degrees, speed is 478 knots."

as the Moonlight cruisers went through the debris field it was a jarring experience, the dead husks to crafts floated around them, destroyers and fighters alike were left to rust in the void of time and space, their stories left to be unknown as they rotted away in the great expanse of time. One ship from the masses stood out, it was massive and had several holes in its hull, all of which clearly being from Macro cannons, it was rusted and old a sad fate for what seemed to be such a mighty warship.

but, something was chillingly off about the old wreck, it was still giving off energy signatures, hell the shields were still on! A Lancaster swooped by, carrying a cargo crate. It went into the old wreck and dropped its payload and left without a trace. One could only wonder what was happening to the old ship? were they going to Re-float her? or were they preparing for a salvage operation? only time would tell.
As the ships passed by and were able to get a better look, they saw the ship's name. Although it had been obscured by rust, fading and chipping of the paint, and even a small Macro shell lodged in her hull they were able to make out a name for the old and rotting craft. "HMS Rod _ _ y" even in its rotting state She imposed a frightening presence, She was about the same size as Hood but had much much bigger guns. The turrets dwarfed anything the moonlight cruisers had by a longshot and put the Hood's guns to shame. Although the exact size of the shells could not be known due to damages and rusting.
The Hood soon follows the Moonlight cruisers into the field, and they are designated to dock at ECDP 3-6 at the bottom of the station seeing as those are the only available ports for a ship of the size of the Moonlight cruisers.
Admiral Nigel once again came over comms, "Prepare to exit the fields." *As the bows of the crafts punched through the scrap fields they were greeted to a bustling network of crafts pulling into and exiting port.
