Compilatron

An asteroid feild containing trace amounts of radioactive fallout. Sensors indicate it's rich in base minerals, as well as silicate and carbon compounds. It might be enough metal to build a medium sized ship, all in all. Nothing to see here.

Haswin Varfax, as per usual not entirely sober, looked at the message of the FTL beacon.
He looked at the bottle in his right hand, then looked at the message again and frowned.
"Hhrrng, maybe I should stop drinking after all?"
He scratched his head, a couple of months ago he had left station Omegalight and gave up his job there, from his savings he bought a new ship and has since been looking for a new job, evidently, it hadn´t quite worked out so far.
...though that didn´t stop him from spending his money, after all it was worthless if you didn´t spend it, or so he usually said.
For the third time he looked at the bottle, frowned and placed it in the holder, consequently moving the holder half a mtre away and eyeing the bottle with suspicion.
That didn´t stop him from going after the sign though, with routined movements he changed the course and turned his 'Novasurfer Model X0-a' around, a rather clunky name as he thought so the first thing he did when he acquired it was naming the ship 'Layla', the other name he had in mind was 'Boozebucket the Second' though since it was a ship fresh out of the workshop, the name didn´t quite make it...
Haswin shook his head to get at least somewhat clear.
'Slimegirls, huh? Might as well...'
He needed some sort of crew anyways or pet, depending on how things would turn out.
He shrugged and activated the thrusters, approaching the station and requesting docking permission.

A discreet and unmarked ship's image extended to the proximity of the particularly small asteroid station along the delapidated trade route, and snapped into place a few moments later. It blared its plasma thrusters and propelled itself close by, sweeping by the station and docking whenever the permission is granted.
From within emerges a relatively tall man, standing 1,89 meters tall, dawning a large green trenchcoat, a hat that obscured his face almost completely if not by the thin lightning of a cigarette, white beard and gray hairs that draped down his back.
He carried a relatively large suitcase held with a strong grip with his right hand.

As per usual, the VWP had kindly asked him to research something. A certain star system exhibited abnormal light bending which may give clues into dark matter or other esoteric substances. Truly, a worthy endeavour, that would propel their technology to greater heights.

Also as per usual, Hadraas completely ignored them, choosing instead to go spelunking across the galaxy on an untraceable string of whims. This latest jaunt, of course, led him here. He landed/slammed his personal shuttle, itself already home to several anomalies, into whatever passed for a landing pad.

Dumb

Compilatron "Galar", still getting used to his new identity, spend most of its time fiddling around in Xaneroth, occasionally picking fights with Mainframe or recreating scenerios in the simulations. Through some unknown circumstances, however, "Galar" noticed that there is a perculiar site that can also produce semi-liquid sentients, and even better, its just located nearby! Delighted for the first time in its life, he brought it up to Mainframe, and successfully get himself on board of a standard Pioneer-class cruiser with similar route pattern, and on the way he goes!

A cruiser of Christmas decal stops by the station, dumps down a humanoid figure with one of its "clamps", and left the site, leaving "Galar" alone inside one of the docks

Declaration: this is set after Dasha leaving Georgia, so technically she still can't appear in two place at the same time

Reading through a pre-set script, which Gil nicknamed the "string puppet's rebellion", Dasha is still slightly worried about the conclusion of the show.

"As the consequence of using the Suniaster, all trace of the puppet, including all its products and doings, shall be removed and rewritten from the sheer fabric of the universe itself...... How the hell do Mainframe even calculate such result anyway......wait...does that mean if something is not originate from the puppet, then it can be preserved?......"

Flipping through the script, a small piece of paper fell out and landed on the ground.

"Huh...plan B?......Just in case to support the effect of the rebellion, as well as to leave behind a correction mechanism in case the rebellion went berserk...... Well this is certainly interesting indeed, perhaps Mainframe did sort out most of the stuff in this already...alrighty, as the owner of the Forge, and a creation of the puppet, I'm more than glad to fulfill my part in the show."

Dasha simply appears inside the station, no one knows whether she created a portal, or fetched a ride, or simply be there all the time, but alas, she is currently situated in the station, while everything still seems kind of intact

Drakador_Chaos As he hailed the station, it transmitted a "Visual Flight Plan" reply... usually reserved for unmanned stations. It was, however... a valid permission for docking, even if no human was there to provide it.

Haswin looked at the flight plan, it wasn´t the first time, though it still felt off.
Somewhat suspicious he observed the station as the ship moved closer, and switched couple of levers, activating the automatic docking protocols...
In the meanwhile he moved to the back of the cockpit, it was not quite as spacious as his former cargo hauler, but still better than some of smaller spacecraft he had in the past, he opened a metal case and pulled out a heavy looking handgun, the guys from the station at least left him that one, his old 'Cerberus', he did the usual checks and concealed it in a holster on his back, getting his jacket and waiting for the docking procedures to finish, before he entered, he looked at the atmospheric controls, to see if he´d have to get the EVA suit.

@Drakador_Chaos I actually meant "VFR" (visual flight rules), which is an aviation term for piloting using just visual indicators, instead of instruments.

Drakador_Chaos The station was, against appearances, preassurised.

Upon entry, Haswin found themselves in a rather uninviting lobby area. Incandescent bulbs flickered above him.. some of them already blown, one of them flashed on and off as it's lifespan was ending.

The lobby itself wasn't anything impressive either. A boarded up kiosk was on one wall, and on the other wall was a heavily locked door, clearly labeled "STAFF ONLY"

The center of the room, however, featured a vending machine, which held a multitude of liquid vials and strange, gooey cores. The machine had a handy sign stuck to it, it's edges frayed and it's text a bit worn off, but readable.

The vending machine stocked a surprising multitude of items. Slime girl cores, colours, psychological traits, skills, abilities... a few much dirtier features not safe to mention. Haswin took a number of second takes as he read the options... almost certain that he was under the influence of whatever he was drinking. But regardless... even if he was, there's no harm in trying, right?

Haswin looked at the machine and started thinking, considering he was still half-drunk, for an astoundingly long time in fact.
After a while he began pushing a number of buttons, although some voice in his head, likely the last semblance of his common sense, prevented him from pushing buttons at random.
After what felt like eternity, and was probably closer to about fifteen minutes, he looked through the list again.
Loyal.
He nodded to himself, wouldn´t want the thing to backstab him.
Capable of speaking Galactic Standard.
Average intelligence and mechanical understanding.
He frowned, he could´ve picked something higher but he felt uncomfortable around people smarter than him, a ship mechanic would be nice though.
He didn´t need any combat capacity either, he could do that himself.
He scratched his chin, he wasn´t entirely sure what color to pick, he had come to no conclusion after fifteen minutes so he had left it at the default colours.
He looked at the last couple of options he had picked, just random personality traits and skills he had picked out, none of which he had considered particularly problematic, in the end he stopped.
C cup.
He tilted his head, unchecked the box.
D cup.
He nodded, somewhat wistfully he scrolled down and looked at the more... inappropriate options, however most of them seemed to be a bit too expensive for his liking, he sighed.
Afterwards he pulled out his credit card and pushed it into the machine, waiting for what would happen next.

Drakador_Chaos The machine stood still for a second... then shunted. Slowly... the coils holding the vials in place turned... dispensing each vial one by one. They rattled and clattered as they unceremoniously tumbled down into the collection bin of the machine. The last item dispensed was the slime extract itself... which almost got stuck on its way down. Soon enough, he had all the supplies needed for his apparent "slime girl"

Noticing a convenient tap behind the Kiosk... Haswin found the wooden boarding to be rather frail. Pushing it aside, the tap didn't flow... but the sink below it did have water in it. He soon dumped each of the vials contents in... forming a goop of substances which smelt like rubber, chemicals and sugar. Throwing the extract in... it quickly absorbed the contents.

In seconds, the extract began to reform and mould it's shape, quickly taking on the appearance of a humanoid... complete with legs, arms, hair. As it completed, the green creature rolled out of the sink where it was mixed... landing with a splat. It chirped in a strange, alien tone... before it shifted into a human voice.

The creature, on the floor, looked around at it's new surroundings... the new world it had been brought into. It wasn't the most poetic location to create new life... but to it... it's all the life it ever knew.

The creatures eyes wandered to lock into the eyes of Haswin. Despite its very poorly formed body... its eyes seemed to retain their shape very well. Curious.

"Woah there, just, hold a moment...!"
Haswin stumbled backwards about three steps, staring at the thing with all the awe this weird galaxy and his drinking habits had left him with for a couple of moments...
He had seen many things, but despite the machine specifically stating it, seeing the slime rise from the tub was a first even for him...

Drakador_Chaos The creature murmered and gurgled... before it tilted it's head in a puppy like fashion, even smiling...

It soon got up, it's complete body now visible. Best get some clothes for it... or not...

Despite the uneven steps the creature made at first, it soon began getting used to its body. The creature put it's hands together over its lap, silently waiting for instructions. It was a fair bit shorter than Haswin...

Haswin looked at the Creature somewhat dumbfounded, apparently oblivious to the fact it was still naked he just stared at it´s face.
"Um... hello?"
Slowly but surely he was sobering up, starting to realise that he was standing with a naked slimegirl in the backsection of a run down backwater station.
"Uh... huh."
He scratched his chin, apparently thinking, he, once more, may have gotten himself into more problems than he was in for.
Oh well.
"Can you... understand me?"

The man looked around for a few seconds, looking for any kind of cameras or security equipment within the place. After all, what's the point in paying a random vending machine in the middle of nowhere?
The man shrugs after looking around, and fetches from a pocket inside his trenchcoat some kind of card, which he swipes close to the machine, automatically depositing the ammount of funds necessary to buy one of each of the objects listed and within the vending machine.
After that, he puts the card back inside his trenchcoat, and sets the suitcase down.

He looked at it some more...
"So, do you have a name?"
He immediatly regret his question, this thing had just been born from all he knew, of course it didn´t have a name.
He facepalmed, he should really stop drinking.
"Uh, actually, I´ll be right back."
Haswin walked off to his ship and came back with what looked like an old nightgown, obviously, it was his and as such far too big for the slimegirl, but better than nothing... or maybe it wasn´t.
"Here take this."
He handed her the nightgown and waited.

Drakador_Chaos The creature looked at the night gown... then somehow figured out how it was used. It tried to slide it over the top of it's head. The gown began to sink through the creature... as it oozed through their "skin".

Before Haswin could do anything, the creature tried readjusting the gown a few times... progressively slowing down the progress it made in sinking through itself each time, before it finally sat atop it's "skin". Maybe it might still sink through after some time... but by the way it chuckled in a humanlike manner, it seemed to be content with it's apparel.

Despite choosing just medium intelligence... it clearly knew how clothes worked. If Haswin was sober he'd wonder where the creature came from... whatever washed down memories meant it knew at least something about humanoid clothing. Of course, Haswin wasn't sober, so the first thoughts that passed over him was how hot the slime looked in a nightgown. Then he considered what actions in life brought him to purchasing shady slime-creatures from a vendor on a dilapidated station.

Fort_Master_Gustav The room did have a security camera in the edge of the room, or rather it would if it wasn't knocked off it's mounting, only held up by some cables.

The man soon found a multitude of different vials and a gooey slime extract having been dispensed from the machine. They were labelled with masking tape and a texta.

Haswin looked at the slimegirl again and frowned.
With his head slowly clearing he started to make a mental list.
So, there´s some run down station here in the middle of nowhere.
This station, has a vending machine for slimegirls.
He just bought a slimegirl which mysteriously came to life. by adding water to it.
He scratched his head.
"Follow me."
He walked out of the room and back into the main room, looking at the vending machine and the staff door, whilst trying not to think about the curves.
After a couple of moments he shook his head.
No, no breaking in doors today, there´s been enough weirdities going on, if he had learned something during his time as mercenary, it was not trying his luck too often in one day... but maybe he could just... knock, or something?
He waited on the slimegirl to see whether it would actually follow, still trying to make sense of the situation.

The man methodically gathered each vial, looked at it for a few seconds, opened up the briefcase and put them inside of it non-chalantly, yet with quite the care.
He got up from kneeling and gathered the suitcase again, which he safely put away inside of his docked ship, once again returning to the inside of the station.
He headed close to the camera and quickly shouted:

"EY, ANY'UN THER? I WANNA 'AVE A TALK MATE"

After which, he awaited a few seconds, and surprisingly, gestured what he said through hand signaling as well.

Soundbust11 Hitting the hull plating he managed to tear a hole in the hull of whatever was here... but whatever was here wasn't pressurised. At least this part wasn't.

Attempting to EVA around the station revealed a docking port on the side. But surely nobody could expect him to actually dock with a docking port. He had places to be!

(There won't be any crossover to other members of this "event", because I can't be bothered co-ordinating that, and because I want to keep the lonely space outpost feel going)

Drakador_Chaos The slimegirl followed... even without his express instruction. Perhaps a little close for comfort... but its small size didn't make it exceptionally awkward. It seemed to mutter to itself in a language he couldn't quite understand... if a language at all.

Knocking on the door revealed no response... but he did hear the sounds of feint beeps and the chatter of a computer...
