Thank you Daytona says Hopefully this won't take too long. The fireteam with him relaxes and they pull out a datapad from one of their rucksacks. Placing it on the ground Daytona clicks away at the onscreen keyboard and the pad begins to scan the room as well as the plane.

WingedDestro Missile impact confirmed the ships AI chirped. Interesting they must have some cloaked ships. The captain weighs his options before speaking to the AI directly. You have the MAC gun Wollfe. If they counterattack let them have it. Aye sir the AI says back.

Dasha puts down the empty mug that she had been so aggressively sipping from, and survey around the room, before locking her gaze at Haden.
"Of course, I understand if some regulations stood in the way, but since I announced my background already, I hope you can do the same as well."

Haden looked at her seemingly surprised, then proceeded to just shrug again.
"Me? I'm sort of a mercenary, on vacation right now as well, worked for a couple of people, Solaric Empire probably the most notable ones, decent guys, good payment."
He paused.
"Would've been nice if they didn't just vanish at some point."
He gazed off into the distance for a couple of moments, apparently somewhat absent, though quickly returned his attention to the room.

kola2134 The damaged gantry is unsuitable for docking... but it's sealed on the inside by an emergency firelock. It'd be easy to pry it open, but you'd likely space the entirety of the docking area in the process.

Dumb Well we come from around. I myself am from Harvest. One of the farthest places out in the United Earth Government which is the group in from. Guess you could say we’re trying to explore a galaxy much bigger then we thought. Is there anything you want to know? Daytona says pausing to catch his breath in between sentences. The rest of the team finish up their scans.

The captured stealth systems and such are heavily guarded while they wait for the transport to come and drop off its load of supplies and take the captured stuff home.

Specialized equipment is unloaded from the ship with a team as they seal the area. The armed team stack up upon the spot as they wedge a piece of equipment into the door. 3.. 2.. 1.. The door is pryed open by the breaching team.

Dasha cracks up a smile, before looking at Daytona again.
"So...judging how everyone is armed like a task force and the lack of just overwhelming personnel, you guys are on a secret mission?"

...Haden said, in a tone that sounded as if he couldn't quite believe they never heard of them.
"They were quite the empire, with quite the foes as well, some big ancient AI with ships numbering in the thousands and more and they fought them with stasis fields, lived on ringworlds, dozens of races led by their staff of 'supreme commanders'...
...and some day, after another pretty big conflict they just packed up and left, ringworlds and all."
He shook his head.
"Pretty weird, huh?"

Compilatron The transport comes closer and its cargo bays open dropping the contents into space so the station could retrieve them. The SAS tech is then loaded up onto one of the waiting dropships and flown back to the frigates.

Drakador_Chaos Daytonas naturally happy expression fails into a shock of horror. "Did you say ringworlds?" Despite his young appearance, Daytona was actually in his sixties, his body not physically ageing due to being placed in cryo sleep for so long on deployments over the years.

Seventeen years ago he remembered first being deployed to a ringworld. The mission there heavily classified except for a few top brass knowing of it, and the soldiers who were there. All of them were sworn to secrecy. The things he encountered there, the horrors he faced all came flooding back to him. He also remembered his squadmates who died and came back not like themselves.

Dumb As Daytona's face whitens he tells Dasha that they are. That is all however as the objective of the mission is classified and his superiors would not like him blurting out any details.

Haden, obviously not knowing any of these memories nor what was going on, looked at him another time and gave him a rather weird look...
"Is there a problem with that? I guess I´d show you one, but it´s not like I have one at hand, they left after all."
He shrugged.
"You´re not supposed to be that pale as a soldier because of something like that, now are you?"
He turned towards Dasha, seemingly somewhat confused...
"Did I say anything wrong? Our friend here seems to be somewhat... distressed."

Dasha thinks for a brief second, before summoning a disposal paper cup and pour some hot cocoa into it, and hand it over to Daytona
"Perhaps some hot cocoa can help calm you back down?"

(gonna say this up front...Dasha's suit is composed of nanites...and you probably know what I mean by that......ahh I'm not really going to go overboard and kill anyone, so you don't have to worry about that part)

even the most simple of scans picked up something in the nose, the grand prize, what they had been looking for, The flight computer, stealth cores, nav data and personal hard drives containing god knows what
